Pets & Horses Enhanced Horse Food

As many people know, there is a huge gap in between a chestnut and a white, with a white costing much more with only 5 speed and jump difference if you upgrade your chestnut. Therefore, not many people use whites. After helping a few people breed, and some getting whites and others not, I came up with this idea.

Horse food would be buyable, for 1 LE, at the horse merchant. When clicked on a horse, it is consumed, and the horse gets 2 things: a breeding buff and a xp buff. When ONE horse has the horse food, there is a 5% increase in chance to upgrade and a 5% decrease in degrade chance, but when you breed it with another horse WITH the horse food as well, there is a 10% increased chance of an upgrade (30%) and 10% decrease of degrade (20%). This will also make the horse gain xp at a rate of 110% percent. If they have had the food applied, the name of the horse would turn gold, and appear gold when looked at.

This can be applied when doing high value breeds, like chestnut and chestnut, and help close the gap between the tiers.

Make it 30 45 25, taking 5% each from the negative and neutral rates.
Besides that good idea.
However this exponentially decreases the cost of horses for just a single LE.
Idk if that's a good thing.

Also, honestly something like this should be majorly risk reward
Make the upgrade and degrade chances 40 and 60 respectively, and make no neutral chance.
Personal opinion but it makes it a lot more metal.

Idea grade: 82% Just barely a B, it's ok but not really a majorly needed or wanted thing

Thread grade: 74% There's not much to explain, but you split up a couple ideas and need to elaborate on the horses eating the food rather than breeding with it thing.

 

There is a chestnut upgrade.

When you use the food, it affects the horse until it is bred. When you use it, as long as the horse isn’t bred, it gains xp faster.

I'm not too sure what you mean, do you mean that when you give your horse food, it goes faster?
Or do you mean it has more chance to breed succesfully?
Or both?

When you give it food it
- gains xp when you ride it 10% faster
- if you breed it with a normal horse, it will be successful 25% instead of 20
