Website & Forums Veteran Tag

If there's already a thread for this please tell me and ill delete this straight away... I imagine there is but I just couldn't see one .

why isn't there a veteran tag on the forums ??

 

I think the answer would be something along the lines of not creating segregation between newer and older players, sowing discord between them and so on. To my knowledge, there are a large amount of older players than there are newer ones and if you keep giving the Veteran tag to these slightly longer lasting players, the new influx of people would feel slightly pressured and left out. It also serves almost no real purpose other than smearing on somebodies face that you're superior to them in terms of play time (which sounds fun in theory but it's rude in practice) . In any case, I'm sure there's bound to be a reason for why it doesn't exist.



The community as a whole should be united not seperated into 'ranks', but hey, that's my opinion ^-^

I'm actually not a Veteran, but I still like the idea. Those people have been around longer than the rest of us, so they deserve to get the tag in the forums too.
