World Change Wynn's "no Refund Policy"

What do you think I’m doing right now?

 

Trying to change one of the most fundamental rules of Wynn just because you keep dying and loosing your stuff

 

My point is, it got fixed and people who get caught will get banned preventing further damage.

But getting it fixed after people have already exploited it isn't very helpful. Sure, you stop the next wave of people doing it, but they will find something else to exploit, and there's no punishment for people who did it before the staff caught the problem

Then how do you keep losing them? Throwing them on the ground? I doubt they just "disappear"

 

So what’s wrong with that? Preventing further damage is a good idea. Nothing is perfect or ever will be.

But you are trying to take a rule that is good and safe and doesn't cause problems creating an exception in it that can be exploited. You are taking something foolproof and trying to add something that gives a way to fool it.

true but people will have a lot less to complain about after already getting one refund.
anyway, as it is, the problem isnt rly in the no refund policy but the fact the bug is still not fixed and until it is people will only continue to lose their items and be salty forever

 

Well this does go by the Admins I think. And knowing them... extend that by 20 years XD
But seriously though, there can be done loopholes in this that can be done but I don't do loopholes so meh.

But here is an idea.

When you finish the quest. You get One Hive Voucher and one Refund Voucher which is a Quest Item (probably). This can prevent one issue but some arise in its place.

We can never create a Fool Proof way to stop this Bug's damage or a round away. The damage can be repaired but won't be the same. The best move now... is just to wait...

Oh yeah and @WynnChairman it is not tags. Only perspective. That can change a lot on how the text feels. But I guess I'm sorry...?

Let's say it's not your fault. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to try to solve the problem that's making these untradable hive items get "lost" in the first place? Instead of trying to poke a hole into the no refund rule?

Then the fix is to stop whatever's causing these problems to get "lost" instead of trying to change the no refund rule (I still don't understand how items just miraculously disappear)

 

Remember skill point glitch still exist ? It takes off your armor and drops them on the ground when you log into the game. You can still pick them up but most of the victims seem not to be noticed that their armor was dropped onto the ground. Then they disappear due to clear lag.

yea, but sometimes the items actually disappear when they drop (or fly off into oblivion where u cant find them anymore like for me in ff)
but the people who will be replacing lost items arent the same people who are fixing the code, so both can be done at the same time

 

Not being able to find where they went sounds like more of a player problem

And it's irrelevant that they can be done at the same time. One fixes a problem, the other creates a problem in a problem-proof system...

 

if the refund voucher is a quest item how would it work tho?
if u go buy another master voucher, thats basically 2 hive items then
if u just show to mod, u can /fixquests
but just an ordinary item would be ok i guess u just show mod and they give u master voucher :/
also i dont think its a good idea to just wait cuz this bug is still happening and lots of people are losing hours upon hours of hard work and considering it is WynnCraft's fault that its happening, they should take some initiative to cook something up and do something about it. even if a few people get some extra hive pieces, its not like theyre tradeable so the only downside is people getting stuff for free, but imo thats still better than people losing their hard earned hive items from a glitch in the game and then getting told suck it up we're working on it

well let me tell you when i switched worlds during ff when it was lagy af, my items popped off and the ones not in my inventory were nowhere to be found. i ran all aroud the area but they werent there
same thing happened once at the qira hive when i reset my skill points without removing my armor and my helmet flew into the hive
like in the center of the mound thing with the portals
and its completly inaccessible
idk why they do that but it fucks with people
also, fixing the glitch will prevent future issues, but until they do, and we have no way of knowing when they will, people will continue to lose their items and there will only be more damage and more salt
also, what do u mean by problem proof system...
this is wynncraft, pretty much problem land where u can find literally any problem conceivable

 

Once again, unfairness, there is this little thing MC did where if one person can get this treatment, everyone else should. The few exceptions are ranks and anything else you do for the server you can gain a tiny bonus. But making something like this where people are getting their stuff back while they don't. Is a bit against the rules as it can be seen as special treatment. Even then, it isn't easy to make a Fool Proof server. Wynn has a ton of plugins, command blocks, Redstone, etc. That causes a lot of problems from time to time. It's gonna have a ton of problems which at points Salted ignored.

Also the Hive part where you rested your skill points and lost that item. That is pretty much on you there. Other one, yeah that is the server.

 

I still dont get how people lose the hive armor lol, im always clearing out my inventory and I only keep my weapons and EB on me, if your inventory is always cluttered you cant get new stuff anyways, its important to be organized
