i mean ive thought about that but depending on how difficult it actually is to check a person's inventory (idk how they do it) and if they've done the quest, it shouldnt be too hard. Ill just assume the search you up and then they just check whatever
if thats the case, well, it would take like 2-3 minutes max to check for no hive items and quest is done per person (honestly shouldnt take that long even)
assuming that, 5 mods can get to about 50 people in 30 minutes (not that long)
then the data can be sent to a spreadsheet or smth and someone else can be the one to hand out the master vouchers/hive item (this is just for hive items specifically btw)
this can also double as a way to see who's already lost their hive items before so u only get one refund or smth
looking on some websites and stuff it looks like wynn peaks at about 700 players on weekdays and a bit more on weekends
so considering about (idk) 2000 active players, im not sure how much have completed the quest, but ill say 20% (so 400)
if the mods do what i outlined, they should be done in 8 days if they have 5 people working 30 mintues everyday + someone to hand out the items
THIS IS ALL ASSUMING THAT MY ASSUMPTIONS ARE CORRECT
idk how long/hard it is to check inventories/quest completions so im completely estimating these time values
this is also assuming untradeable trading is fixed so no abusing the system
in regards to not caring about mods,
the way i see it, it is their responsibility as moderators do things in general on wynn
i dont mean to like overwork them or disregard their personal lives, but i think 30 minutes a day is pretty reasonable
    so yea
thats just my opinion tho so no rage plz

My calculations show that 2000 is significantly below the actual number of active players. Taking a relatively conservative estimate of an average of 300 people online at once, this would mean that each 'active player' would on average spend over three and a half hours a day on the server. I don't know exactly how we're defining 'active' but this seems a bit much.

well idk how to calculate "active players"
i just assumed the people on everyday were pretty much the same people so like 700 and then (tbh lol) 2000 was just some random number i pulled outta my ass
    but even so
    say it were 10000 then
then it would just take 5 times longer
but it would be done in about 40 days (according to my very assumed and not unlikely very inaccurate calculations)
and thats assuming there are only 5 people doing this for only 30 mintues everyday

    To correct you.
the armor would stay on, but it would give no buffs, ids, or hp when it was on the player, for he didn't fit its requirments.
he can put it on his body, it would not have any benefit to him.

Note: they could add a new rank for this, the only get perms and can see what quests you have done, they can send ss
to a mod then, (you probably could fake a screenshot, but this rank would be for trusted people only)

How does anyone cheat any system? I don't know, but I'm sure it will happen.

well thing is, the current no refund policy isnt great either tbh
even if you have concrete video evidence and they check u up and ur legit and everything
u still dont get ur stuff back
and sometimes it gets really ridiculous like they wont even return the quest items from "the lost"
now thats just unreasonable if u ask me :/

His point is that someone will figure out some way to cheat the system. There's not really a reason to need evidence, because the point is that even if we don't know how they could do it at the moment, someone will find a way to do it. People will go to great lengths to get free stuff.

    What @DiamondWarrior59 said.

For example, iPhone Touch ID. Apple didn't see any way for it to be fooled, yet within 3 days of release, German hackers managed to get through it.

Just because I don't know exact methods on how this could be fooled doesn't mean there isn't extremely high chance it's possible and will happen.

So we aren’t going to do it bc it’s prob going to get cheated, even tho we have fixes for that reason

tbh tho, considering if this is done, it should all be done manually, so that way people won't be able to find a glitch in the system itself and the mods can determine themselves if people are legit or not

Trying to retroactively fix the problems after they already happened isn't very helpful.

    can you say how tho?
so they check if you've done the quest and dont have the item
they check if you've requested a refund before
keep track of who did and didnt
you get only 1 refund per class
and this will be after untradable trading is fixed

But that way can't people decide to just "loose" their item if they don't like it by putting it in a loot chest and getting a different one? Or something like that.

I can't think of a specific situation, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

But that still allows one cheat of the system. And, if people are complaining about no refunds and wanting 1 refund, don't you think people will then complain about 1 refund not being enough too?
