This is fairly obvious feedback, you probably all encoutered that problem at one point.
Cutscenes are not multiplayer compatible in a MMORPG server. I always found this pretty ironic!

Basically, when you play with friends and there's a cutscene, you'll end up seeing their heads or at least their helmets, blocking your view. The first example I have when playing was in Meaningful holidays, with the ending scene. Of course, since the Gameplay update or even Gavel, you kept adding cutscenes and command blocks stuff in the game. Which is great! But using vanilla invisibility for that isn't great at all.

It's fairly easy with plugins to hide the players during a cutscene (I'd guess, since a lot of servers have a "hide players" feature, and even Essentials has a /vanish feature!)

This is something that may come with the code refractor, but I feel like that's a pretty big deal. It instantly makes the cutscene look crappy (especially when the friends I was playing with were actual mapmakers with realms capes!)

The quests would be more enjoyable with friends if proper invisibility was a thing! In singleplayer, it works fine, so there's not much work to do command blocks wise! There's no reason not to change this, I don't think a poll is even necessary!

TL;DR: Make all players invisible during a cutscene

I always thought the content team either didn’t realize this or was too lazy to add an extra command...

Ye, a lot of the older cutscenes have the issue of just using vanilla invisibility as at that time I don't think there was any integration of Wynn code into command blocks and it was the best that could be done at that point. However, I think newer versions of Script are able to make players fully invisible/put them into a GM3 kinda state, and as it becomes more commonly used hopefully it will become less of an issue. One thing to note, though, is that most barrier boxes aren't just a 1x1 space, and if you are in there with other players most of the time you can just move out of the way of them and watch it side by side.

I know that some are not 1x1 boxes and sometimes they are 3x3, but that's still a problem as it obstructs the player's view.
I'm glad you found a way to change this though!

No longer an issue with newer cutscenes! Will see what I can do regarding the old ones.
We still got a bunch of multiplayer issues with them, but one at a time I guess.
