Overrun Cities

I think it'd be pretty awesome if there was cities overrun with mobs, or failed cities I guess. I'm pretty new though so I apologize if something already exists and I have not seen it yet. It'd be a great addition to the server because it gives it a bit more medieval feel to it. Plus it's more realistic. Building does take time though so I understand if it is not very useful to add.

 

*Technically* this has already been done. With places like Sarnfric and the ancient city. We get places where the populace has been overrun by mobs, and is now gone.

I say technically because Sarnfric sunk below the sea, and the ancient city probably isn't fully in wynn, but whatevs

There are more than than.
Dead Island, Angry Village, Miner Camp, Rymek might be counted but that's more bandits than actual monsters.

 

eh, the abandoned mines are more of a desolated place not a city but oh well
and technically the angry village is still a city, its just everyone wants to kill everyone there now

 

there arent rly any "cities" taht are overrun by mobs
most places that are are usually jsut a collection of ruined houses and stuff
you dont see anything as big as ragni or cinfras or almuj that are filled with aggro mobs

 

So there used to be this mechanic called "swarms". The whole world would get an announcement like "A swarm is appearing in 5 minutes in Ragni". It might have been for the whole server and also say the world number, idk.

Anyway, so then you would get a notification saying like oh "A swarm has appeared in Ragni" and then a HELLA TON of mobs would appear and enter the city. You basically wern't allowed to leave the city (I think) and just tried to kill as many mobs as possible and you would get XP.

Eventually, swarms were removed due to lag. I thought they were re-added but I dont think so.

Not counting the coliseum, its about the size of breminglar or ternaves or smth

 

The coliseum has to be counted though, since it is part of the city.
So AN is about the size of Detlas.

 

Dogun's Ruined City is also pretty big

Also, there's a couple small places you missed, the bridge is part of the city as well.
