    Assassins don't have the speed particles in the first place. While in vanish, every few seconds a small smoke particle or two will appear. This ensures that assassins still have their stealth mechanic while not being completely unfindable while in stealth. The particles that appear only tell you where they previously were, because by the time you see them they could easily be 10 blocks away.
