Hi guys, I want to show you an idea that I had to Wynncraft.

Basically it is a Creator Contest idea.

How it works: Wynncraft usually needs new ideas. Lots of player in the forums have these ideas. So basically, The Admins will throw a theme in the forums and the players will have to create ideas. The best ideas won.

Example: Grian wants a new dungeon. It should be a level 45 dungeon with hadow theme. He put these information in the forums and determine a limit date to the players send their ideas. The players start creating their ideas and The Admins decide which is the best one.

Obviously they wont make creator contests to every idea they want, because this is the work of GMs. The cretor contests will only be to other playes have the opportunity to have their ideas in-game.

This really work and happen in other games, such as Geometry Dash. They usually make Creator Contests where they give a theme to the player make a gauntlet. The last one was the Magic Gauntlet, the is still happening, were the player have to create a magic-themed level. The admins of Geometry Dash will select five of them and put them in a gauntlet. They had made many of these before and famous creators also make their own Creator Contests. I wonder if this was added in Wynncraft.

Aarontii, can you please answer me a question?

Wynncraft have a great potential to great, this is fact. But you have a little team! Only 27 builders! GMs and CMDs even less! So it turns really hard to evolve your ideas! Why don't you accept the good builders, GMs and CMDs that are good and can help the game evolve faster? They doesn't need to be perfect, they need to be able to help the game grow. Please answer me.

The team consists of over 60 people, and you call that small? We are not comparable to large servers such as hypixel, nor actual game developing teams. Everyone in the team is a volunteer with passion and skills, what more do you expect?

You do understand, that you're basically calling the entire team shit? And what exactly is your point with this anyways? We accept everyone who has shown proficient skills to work with the team. This excludes the untrustworthy people along with the people who're not quite skilled enough to take on the work of developing Wynn.

 

I wasn't calling the team a shit! Never! Wynncraft team is awesome for the creating a incredible server like this. I was just confused why don't you have more members. Sorry if I offended.

Because some days ago, I saw a guy that build an entire city, that was very beatiful, and he didn't get accepted, then I get confused!

 

Not all talented people want to work for wynncraft; This should be quite obvious.
The rest do not possess sufficient skills to be able to help the server

That city might seem pretty to you, but it's not at the level of wynncraft. From what I saw, the city included only around 3 different builds copy&pasted all around. It was highly overdetailed, lacked shape and the patterns were repetitive.

The reason a couple of builds alike exist in Wynn is for the sole reason of unexperienced players getting accepted into the team

 

Pretty sure they did this a couple of times a loooong time ago. I seem to remember reading on the wiki that selchar was added in a building contest for an island city.

Additionally, I agree with Aarontti, the wynn team is already quite large, and adding on even more people won't really solve many issues, or speed things up

we already have gms, builders, etc who can do that.
The majority, of suggestions never get added
so far I know of only 3 suggestions that were ever added
