Website/Forum More Strict Shoutbox Moderation.

I'm not going to post direct examples because I don't want to cause shit, I would love it if you didn't cause shit as well, thanks.

Now, apparently, keep in mind I'm saying apparently here, a problem with the Discord was that it was lacking in moderation, now, as far as I know, I could be wrong, it's become a bit heavier in moderation. I have no problem with that. However, my good enemy friend enemy, the shoutbox, has become a little... unsupervised.

By which I mean the shoutbox has become a nasty-ass garbage can full of raving baseless claims, and sometimes it's just full of plain immaturity for no reason.

The absence of moderation has really taken a toll on the shoutbox, badly, and personally, sometimes it's just fucking stomach-churning to look at. If you were to separate the "forum" community from the "shoutbox" community, this place would look a whole lot nicer. I'm getting sick of it.

I've seen similar things be said about the discord, and whether it's actual criticism or just useless salt, I don't know. But what I do like about the discord is that it's a whole other website separate from here and not some small shitbox in the main page that I can't help but force myself to stare at even when the most stupid shit is happening in there, I have issues I know.

How do you fix this? You ask? Well, first, have moderation frequently watch the shoutbox often, and clean it up so it's not like what it is now. Second, if something's a no-no in the forums, then it should be a no-no in the shoutbox as well, if that is currently the case, I don't see it being enforced.
If someone breaks a rule in the shoutbox, it should be met with the same punishment as if they broke that same rule in the rest of the forums.

If the shoutbox isn't taken care of I worry that this cesspool will spread to the rest of the forums.

Listen man sorry for the rant I'm just real upset about the state of the shoutbox, again, don't use this thread as an excuse to cause shit please, that's the last thing I need, thank you.

Or if you wanted to delete the shoutbox, I'd be down with that too.

TL;DR Fix shoutbox please, please, please, I'm not even fucking joking anymore. I just want my mood to not turn sour for the most part whenever I take a glance at the shoutbox.
