There should be a 'quest' which makes all new forum members read the instruction threads made by all the mods, such as the FAQ and what each thread section is for.

If you complete this quest, youll get the ability to make threads and post links.
This is simply for people who need to know the rules and are about to suggest housing.

Whenever you post without reading, it would say, 'Please read all instructions.

 

Because that's not what forum is for.

I needed quick help from forum members a lot, on different forums, and if I had to read every single instruction thread before being able to ask for help, I'd be frustrated and send everything to hell.

If someone doesn't want to read the rules, that's their choice, more often than not, just using common sense is enough. If someone breaks the rules, it's their own fault and will suffer the consequences.

 

Simply, if they do something annoying, it wastes everyones time. Alterntively, read words but just entering the thread is enough. It wont take more than what 5 minutes?

 

Forcing new members to read for 30 minutes just to access the forums is a guaranteed way to drive them away

This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document will be broken down into two sections:

Section 1: The Bug Reports Section – What is it?

» Question: What exactly is the bug reports section?
» Answer: The bug reports section is where you, the player, reports an issue to the Quality Assurance team and Content Team managers regarding issues about gameplay, game mechanics, official tools, typos, world holes, etc. The list goes on! As said in Salted's message about the section, you should report important game-breaking issues directly to the Quality Assurance team.

» Question: What happened to the old github issue tracker?
» Answer: The Quality Assurance team discussed the advantages and disadvantages of github. While we did like a number of features github has, reporting issues on the forums is more accessible for the player. The old github issue tracker will stick around for now, but may disappear in the future.

» Question: Who make up the Content Team managers and the Quality Assurance team?
» Answer: The three CT managers are: Hams, Tantibus, and Imaxelius. The members of the Quality Assurance team are: colin350, Imaxelius, Snipah, Moe_Ronickah, JuicedBananas, Villageacules, Creecreeprs, Ackro and sci_fi_nut_123.

» Question: When are issues resolved?
» Answer: There is no set time when issues will be resolved. It varies by case. If the issue is a typo or something map related, it'll be patched almost instantly. If it's code related, expect it to take time. The patch for the issue will become available depending on whether it's fixable by a CT member or by a developer.

• Code issues patched by developers will be released generally in their own update or at their own time. Refactor, however, will be released as one update.
• Map or Quest patches will be patched during the next map update.

Section 2: Is my issue an issue?

» Question: What's a good issue?
» Answer: A good issue consists of a few items:

• The title should be a brief ~5 word summary of the issue. The title: "Game Breaking Bug, Please Help" is a bad title.
• The main text of the issue should be very descriptive and well explained. Poor explanation of the issue could cause it to get closed, deleted, and/or locked.
• If possible, it should include examples and images.
• You should describe the steps on how to reproduce the issue.

» Question: I, the player, lost my item(s). This happened either by mistakenly dropping it on the ground or into a hopper, by throwing it into the trash, or by dying with little to no soul points. Should I report this as a bug?
» Answer: This is not a bug. Wynncraft enforces a strict no-refund policy. What this means is that refunds of any kind, due to any reason, will not be refunded in any way. This policy applies to all players, including staff members and content team members. Reporting an issue of this kind will be closed, locked, or even deleted.

» Question: I, the player, am stuck in a hole, a box, or the wall. I cannot get out. Can an admin teleport me out?
» Answer: The short and sweet answer: No. To get unstuck, type /kill with 5+ soul-points. If you are stuck in a hole and can see the "sky", please disclose the coordinates of where you are in the report.

» Question: I, the player, saw an item disappear from my inventory. This is clearly a bug. What should I do?
» Answer: The no-refund policy, as described above, applies here, even though the issue reported is a bug. However, if you know the cause and can reproduce the disappearance of your items, please feel free to make a report. If the disappearance of your items is controllable by you (i.e dropping them or dying with them), please do not make a report.

» Question: I, the player, need a quest item for a quest, but cannot find it anywhere. I have checked my bank and other classes to see if it is there. What should I do?
» Answer: You should not make an issue. You have two solutions. You can either type /fixquests, but if that doesn't work, your only other option is to level up another class and transfer quest items via your bank.

» Question: I, the player, have glitched/clipped out of the map somehow and found myself in a flat world. I see structures.
» Answer: You can be banned for being outside of the map. My suggestion is to /kill immediately with 5+ soul points.

» Question: I, the player, am having trouble with a purchase I made on the store. It's not updating in game. What do I do?
» Answer: Please email [email protected] with proof of purchase.

These rules are a work in-progress, and we will update them as we need to.

1) Serious Issues, Only
This forum is for serious bug and issue reports, only. Jokes and useless posts will not be tolerated. If you post a joke, or a useless post, don't be surprised when the Useless Post rule comes down on you.
2) Duplicates
Before posting an issue, check the forum, and the Resolved Issues forum, to see if your bug has already been reported. Duplicate bugs will be closed, moved, folded, spindled, and, well, you get the point.
3) Exploits
If you think you've found an exploit, don't post the issue here. Instead, private message a moderator or other QA team member on our forums.
4) Forum Moderation
Every QA and every manager has permission to deal with any bug. So, if your bug gets closed or moved by a non-moderator, it's OK; they are supposed to do that.
5) Issues With Real Purchases
If your issue is related to individual payments or account support, please email [email protected] instead of posting the issue here.

Spoiler: Illegal to sell -items info

Some of you may have seen people trying to sell their old nether and adventurer armor for large amounts of Le. This is wrong and i will explain why that is.

Firstly, there is the fact that it can be dropped from mobs. I know what you're going to say and yes its leather and not the original color, this was a bug.
It will eventually begin to drop in its original color soon(TM). It will also have its old armor texture once armor skins return soon(TM again).
Until then there is a problem we have.

Players can glitch this leather armor and turn its color into its old red counterpart, making it IMPOSSIBLE to tell the difference between old and new.
If we allow these items to be sold for stacks of Le, then we allow glitchers to gain stacks upon stacks of Le without any work or effort.
Please understand this is for your own protection.
We will close any thread we have to if we believe it will damage the economy or wynncrafts players as a whole.

I understand that some of you value these items, because they used to be very desirable....i too have an old unenchanted nether set.
Its fine if you want to hold onto it because of what it meant to you.
If you try to sell it for a lot of Le, nobody will be able to tell the difference between a glitch dyed set and a normal old set...not even mods, and we can't allow that.
This is not just from me, Selvut, or any single mod.
This is from all of us to make sure we keep the server as healthy as we can.

There will be no changing this rule at least for the foreseeable future, however i will keep this thread open unless it gets out of hand for open discussion.
If anyone has problems or concerns with this feel free to post as long as its not going to start a flame war.

No Scam Pricing.
You may not advertise an item for sale for more than its normal counterpart's worth.
Items that have been nerfed, item's that have had their stats changed, item's that are identical except for visual changes or tier changes, cannot be advertised for a higher price than their normal in-game counterpart. This is scam pricing. You will be warned once, then further action may be taken, up to, and including bans.

You are not allowed to sell vanilla items for Emeralds whatsoever.
The punishment for this will be a ban.

Salutations,

For a good suggestion there are a few key things that you should keep in mind and do while making a thread for the best chance of it getting noticed and gaining a solid reputation.

1. Go into detail. (it is important to explain your idea and why it is good for Wynn, suggestions that lack detail will be ignored and not gain a good reputation even if it has potential to being fantastic)
2. Is it possible? (ask yourself if what you are suggesting is actually possible in Wynncraft and can be done)
3. Does it fit? (does your idea actually fit in Wynncraft? If you want guns added then most likely not)
4. Has it been suggested before? (there are some things that have been suggested time and time again, it is better to look through suggestions first before making one just in-case someone already asked for it)
5. Feedback or suggestion? (if you want something that is in the game that is changed or you don't like something then you should use the Feedback Section)
6. Don't tag staff/CT (if your suggestion is good we will notice, no need to tag us at any time)

When making a suggestion that you want to be added you have to put as much effort as you can into it, the more effort that gets put into it the more likely it will be added, especially if it is a good suggestion.

General Suggestions is a section that anyone can make any suggestion they desire or think should be added within our game.

The main issue with this section right now is when someone posts a short suggestion or does not give enough detail it has somehow become normal practice to say that the suggestion is shit or just saying give more detail or going completely off topic.
Examples like this are things that I don't want to see as suggestions become associated with this attitude and acting this way is not acceptable.

If someone gives a suggestion that is not the best suggestion in the world, do not shame them for it or say it's shit. Give them actual feedback on how they can improve their suggestion or even try to help with their suggestion because it will lead to better suggestions from people in the long run.
At the end of the day, don't be mean towards people that might not be able to fully articulate what they want added to the game, help them improve their suggestion and threads.

Salutations!

To start off suggesting people for Featured Wynncraftian it is important to understand that this is meant to feature people in the Wynncraft community that have done something that is impactful in some way.

You can submit people in any manner but you must have:

1. Their name in title, in the thread, and links to their profile.
2. What they have done clearly outlined. (Can have links to accomplishments as well)
3. Nice formatting. (Make it nice to look at, and don't make walls of text it's just more work for us otherwise)

We prefer people that have made a good impact or have done something unique that makes them stand out.
If you recommend someone who's a GenericJoe42 then it will be ignored.
Joke threads will also be deleted and the thread creator warned, if you want your suggestion to be taken seriously put effort into it and make sure you have those three things up there checked off.
Please don't nominate yourself as well, it is unappealing.
If you are unsure if someone has been picked before, refer here.

Wynncraft Rules


To make sure everyone has a great time in Wynncraft, every member of the community must follow these rules. Do not worry, we aren't monsters. Most of the time, we will simply warn you if you break a rule. However, in more serious cases, it can end up with a ban. Fortunately, you can appeal for a second chance.

Keep in mind that the rules are subject to change for either clarity, to remove an old rule, or to add a new one (if there is an issue with a rule msg @Pretzule). Moderators also have discretion in how they enforce the rules. Some might be more tough than others, and it's fine. These rules can be interchanged between the different platforms depending on the situation e.g. in-game rules may be used on the forums.

Game Rules

1. No hacking/hacked clients.
(ex. fly hacking, aimbotting/killaura, water walking, xray, entity tracker, speed hacking & possession of a hacked client, even when not in use.) Modded clients are allowed as long as they do not give you any gameplay advantages.

2. Macros.
(Macros are allowed as long as they're not on a loop. They also must not provide a faster attack than can be performed by the user, manually. Spells, and melee attacks cannot be on loops. Attacking in quick succession with the use of macros is also not allowed, this includes spells and melee attacks.)

3. Do not abuse bugs, glitches or exploits.
(Leaving the map, obtaining illegal items, duping and bypassing restricted areas. Also included is bypassing territory cool-down.)

4. Do not excessively curse or insult people.
(Includes bypassing words that are censored. Swearing is fine, as long as not abused and not directed at someone. This includes racism.)

5. Do not spam.
(This includes through /p, /r, /msg, /g, and /report.)

6. Misuse of /report.
(Fake reports, spamming /report, reporting to get attention.)

7. Do not harass other players.
(Includes sexual harassment, belittling players, ignoring requests to stop annoying them, etc.)

8. Do not scam players.
(Selling something that is grossly overpriced, tricking someone into buying an item that was not promised. If an unidentified item that is advertised wrongly is sold the seller must give a full refund or receive a permanent ban.)

9. No vanilla items.
(This includes abusing glitches to obtain and selling/buying them, just throw them out. Vanilla items are normal Minecraft items that are usually obtained through glitches.)

10. No advertising.
(This includes YouTube Channels, Twitch Streams, Minecraft Servers. YT and Twitch is fine through PM. You are allowed to talk about anything, but giving a direct link/IP in the goal of only advertising isn't tolerated.)

11. Do not impersonate staff
(Changing your MC name to a name very similar, claiming you are staff when you are not. Includes Content Team impersonation.)

12. Player Made Invasions
(Leading mobs towards a city with the intent to kill AFK players within the city, also includes leading mobs towards people that are “safe” in order to get them killed.)

13. Buying in-game items.
(Using real life money to purchase something in-game from another player, includes selling/buying store items for items in-game.)

14. Ban Evasion
(If you are banned, you are not permitted to use an alternate account to continue to play.)

15. Leaking
(Leaking information about the future of the server, including blocked off areas is prohibited.)

16. Refunds Policy
(We cannot refund items that are acquired in-game, no matter how they are lost. For any problems with items that are purchased through our store, please contact us at [email protected].)

17. Inappropriate Usernames
(Usernames that contain vulgar language or innuendos is not allowed.)

Forum/Shoutbox Rules
1. No inappropriate posts.
(Keep it PG-13.)

2. Useless content.
(Not putting any thought into a post or a post that has no purpose or does not add anything to the section or thread.)

3. Cheating the 10 Char limit/firsts.
(Comments that are less than 10 characters, and posts that just say First, Second, Third, etc. Bidding is fine.)

4. No Alternate accounts/owning more than 1 account.
(Includes sharing accounts, and guild accounts. You are responsible for your own account.)

5. Hijacking someone’s thread.
(Purposefully creating a new, unrelated topic within someone else’s thread.)

6. No airing dirty laundry
(if you don’t like someone, don’t spread it everywhere, take it to a PM or contact a Moderator about the issue.)

7. Like bombing/Asking for likes.
(Liking a friend’s content with the intent of getting their like count up.)

8. Do not post referral links

9. Do not spur on Flame Wars.
(If you see a flame war, hit the report button. Do not add more fuel to the fire. Flame wars are posts that do nothing but create controversy and mass-arguing with no resolutions.)

10. Harassment of other players.
(Includes, but is not limited to, making fun of mental illness and other psychological issues that one may have.)

11. Advertising.
(Streams, and videos are fine. IPs of servers and referral links are not. If you are unsure ask a Moderator before posting.)

12. AMAs
(They are allowed, you need Moderator approval before creating one.)

13. Giveaways
(Giveaways and rank giveaways are allowed. Donation pools, regular items, or under 32EB are not allowed for giveaways.)

14. Goodbye posts
(Only on profiles.)

15. Being passive aggressive or flat out rude to people.
(Posting "who cares", posting the easter egg song, excessively insulting/making fun of someone, etc.)

16. Necroposting
(Posting on a thread that is considered dead/or has no discussion; hasn't been replied to in approximately 30 days or more for no legitimate reason. The OP can request for an unlock.)

17. Spamming
(Submitting low-quality posts repeatedly anywhere on the forums is considered "spamming")

18. Ban Evasion
(If you are banned, you are not permitted to use an alternate account to continue posting.)

19. Selling Unidentified Items
(Selling unidentified Mythics is not allowed. Legendary and below is fine. If the item turns out to be a different item than is advertised a refund must be given, as it would be considered scamming, see game rule #8.)

But the most important rule of them all is to have fun in Wynncraft. Use some common sense and enjoy the game!

Welcome!

In case you are reading this, it most likely means you have just been banned from the official Wynncraft server. All your hard work has gone to waste. All those hours of constant grinding just to get another level on the ever-ending race to 100... All those sleepless nights trying to complete that nerve-wracking quest that was driving you mad... But overall, all those friends and companions you met through your journey... Everything lost, vanished before your own eyes. You must surely be desperate. Aching to get back what you lost because you made a mistake, as all human do in their life.

Well, weep no longer my friend! The Wynncraft staff is generous enough to give you one more chance. Cheers! But remember, only one more. That means that if you break the rules again... It's game over for you! So don't be a fool.

When you have ordered your thoughts, in order to create an appeal, you must go to the Ban Appeal section and create a thread hitting the "Post New Thread" button, right of the screen. Should be easy to locate. Here is a list of essentials that you must include in your thread if you desire to be unbanned.



Additionally, here's some tips on making an appeal.

1. Read this list as many times as you need until you're sure you have understood it all.
2. Be honest and tell the truth. A staff member will only ban if he/she is completely sure you broke a rule. This means any attempt to lie your way through will just worsen your situation.
3. Take your time. An appeal is not something you do in 20 seconds. Think it thoroughly.
4. Correct grammar, punctuation and vocabulary is appreciated.

5. Try to appeal in English, as it is the main language here. If it's not your native language, tell us and try your best. We will understand.
6. Moderators have different ways of handling appeals. Some are more strict, some are softer.
7. Make the appeal formal and as long as possible. Remember to be polite to staff over all.
8. Making a fake ban appeal just to have a good laugh will end up in a ban.

9. Don't post an appeal anywhere except on the Ban Appeal section. Also, do not spam appeals. The extra ones will get deleted, and it won't help you in any way.
10. You are encouraged to not write lists. I know, hypocritical, but don't do it.
11. Calm down. We are not monsters. If you explain what happened and be honest, you will be given another chance.
12. Being a donator does not help you in any way, shape or form, so do not even mention it.


Too long ? Don't worry, everything in that list can be summed up in one simple, yet very important tip.


- Use common sense.


There is also a few more things you should know.

- Chargeback bans aren't dealt at the Ban Appeal section. For that, you must e-mail [email protected] and explain what happened along with the transaction ID.
- Your Minecraft account is your responsibility, therefore, you are responsible of what was done with it, whether it was you or someone else.
- If a staff member will not unban you, accept it. It's a game, and your life isn't over.
- Same way, if a staff member tells you to stop appealing, you obey.

Ok, I think that was all. Now, the best way you can see what is a good appeal and what isn't is to show you some examples. Remember, the more effort you put into it, the better your chances of getting unbanned.

A good appeal would be one similar to the following:

Hello, my username is FerrusStinger and I have been banned from the Wynncraft server for using FlyHacks. I admit to it. I did it because the Assassin class doesn't have a movement spell as all the other classes do, and the Wynn map is huge, and takes a lot of time to cross. After I saw I wasn't getting banned, I decided to use it on the Nether too. I wanted to be on the leaderboards, the ones on the website. The only thing I got was a ban. I now realize that what I did brought problems to others, and that it's dirty playing and highly unfair. I want to apologize to all I bothered or caused problems with my incorrect way of acting. Please, give me a second chance. I have now realized there is no fun in cheating, and if you do unban me, I promise to never hack again and to follow the rules like a normal server player. Thank you for your time.

However, not all appeals are like this, sadly. Here are some examples of appeals that will definitely never get you unbanned.

In case your appeal is accepted, you will most likely have to wait a penalty which will consist in a certain amount of time that can range from 1 or 2 days to even a week. Again, that depends on the Mod who banned you.

General Guidelines

Here you will find information mostly on community guidelines, rules, basic knowledge of Wynncraft’s system and how authoritarian is it.

Where can I find the rules?

Where can I report players?
If you have sufficient evidence and want to report a player from in-game of rom the forums, post a report here: https://forums.wynncraft.com/forums/player-reports.83/
If you are in-game and perhaps do not have sufficient evidence, you can still report a player using the /report command. This will prompt a moderator to supervise the reportee.

If I found an exploit or glitch. What do I do?
For glitches, report them here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/
For Exploits, since we don’t want the disclosure of them, report them to a moderator exclusively or report them by contacting [email protected] through email.

If I was banned. What do I do?
You can post a ban appeal here:

Where can I contact Moderators?
Methodically you can contact them by doing /report in-game to report players.
For private reasons, you can contact them via the forums. Please, do not contact them via their profile, contact them via Private Message.

If I think I saw someone duping, hacking or abusing. What do I do?
You can gather evidence and report them on the forums with it, do /report in-game if it is just a speculation or contact a moderator privately about it.

Is bumping threads allowed on the Forums?
Bumping threads is allowed on the forums. Usually, it is regarded by users on the forums as a bit annoying, since it is an attempt to get more views on their thread that should otherwise not be deserved after its subject died down. Regardless, there is certainly no rule against doing so.
Please do not bump unnecessarily regularly however.

How do I link my account to the forums?
You do /forum in-game and that should link your forums account with your in-game account.
If /forum does not work, contact [email protected] (email).

Where can I contact Support?
You can contact Support via [email protected]

When do I have to contact Support?
Support comes into place whenever there is a problem regarding any sponsorship rank, Pets, exploits, and questions that are unusual.

What is support’s purpose?
Support acts as a method of communication for the community to ask questions about purchases you made or glitches that had happened to you and would like to get fixed.
For example, lets say you did a quest yet realised that your XP glitched and you didn’t gain the XP you should have had. To resolve this, you take screenshots of the evidence and email Support about it.

Ranks & Applications

Where can I apply for Moderator?
You can submit your application for a Moderator. This application works differently from GM and Builder ones. Here is a thread with all the information about it: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/moderator-applications-open.184669/

What do Moderators do?
Moderators are responsible for enforcing the server and forum rules, and deal with banning players, responding to appeals and therefore unbanning players, as well as muting, etc.
Please note that moderators cannot restart servers or fix connection issues. This is the admins' job.

Where can I apply for Builder?

What do Builders do?
Builders are responsible for constructing the amazing cities and world in which our server is set.

Where can I apply for Game Master?

What do Game Masters do?
Game Masters are responsible for making the immersive quests, mobs and items found on our server.

Where can I apply for the Youtuber Rank?
There is no application form. To get the Youtuber Rank you will need enough subscribers and videos about Wynn, the rank will be given to you if you meet these requirements.

What are the perks of it?
YouTubers get /hide and a unique color name.

How can I be eligible for the rank?
To have a minimum of a few thousand subscribers along with constant Wynn videos.

Where can I apply for the Artist Position?
Artist Rank is an exclusive rank. Just like moderators, you can not apply for it, you are chosen by Administration. Rank is given to those who work as artist on Wynncraft.

What do the colours of ranks mean?

Grey: Normal Member
Green: VIP
Aqua: VIP+
Purple: HERO
Teal: Builder, Game Master, Command Blocker, Artist, or Composer.
Orange: Moderator
Dark Red: Administrator
Magenta: YouTuber

In-game Questions

I am stuck in The Map. What do I do?
Before all, if you have 6 or more Soul Points, do /kill to avoid most of the commotion and for it to be a quick process. If you do not have 6 Soul Points, I recommend stalling in-game until you receive enough Soul Points, eventually following what is indicated above. if its unlikely that you have 6 Soul Points, you can use a Teleport Scroll instead if you have 2 Soul Points.
If you can’t wait for either and see a moderator online, ask them to teleport you.

I am lost In Wynncraft. What methods can I use to find my location?
You can do /kill to be Teleported to the nearest City.
You can check the Wynncraft Map on the forums: https://map.wynncraft.com

What plugins does Wynncraft use?
Wynncraft’s plugins are custom made and are patented. If you like them, play the official game.

My Hunger isn’t regenerating. What I do?
Do /class and reselect your class. This should solve the problem.

Wynncraft is down. What do I do?
There is nothing else to do than to wait. If there is a huge issue or an update it will most likely be announced on Discord or Twitter

Armour skins:
Can I deactivate them?
There is no way to deactivate the armour skins.

They’re not loading. What do I do? They do not appear in-game right now. Why?
Currently armour skins are not available in-game (2/9/17).

Classes

How can I access Hunter, Knight, Dark Mage, Ninja Classes?
Hunter and Knight are VIP exclusive Classes. If you would like to play them, you have to buy VIP.
Dark Mage and Ninja are VIP+ exclusive classes (VIP+ also has access to Hunter and Knight). If you would like to play them, you have to buy VIP+.

Can I get my class reset?
Yes! This can be done by right clicking on the class profile within the /class window.

Can I reset the skill points of my class?
Yes you can by selecting "reset skill points" in your compass for a few soul points.

When I change from class to class, does my class save or is the process lost?
Your process is saved, you will not lose anything. Furthermore, you can share items between classes.

If I level on a class, are my levels transferrable?
No, you levels are not transferable.


Pets

What are Pets?
Pets are an in-game companion which the player can buy with real world currency or find in loot crates.

Where can I obtain pets?
Unique pets can be bought in our store, alternatively you can find other pets in loot crates.

Do Pets have perks other than cosmetic?
No. Due to the EULA pets in Wynncraft currently do not attack mobs, but follow you around. You are also able to ride your pets.

Quests

Are Quest items important?
They are essential to the Story-line. Quest Items usually have positive connotations, or are items that are similar to legendary items. Story-line Quest items are important for future quests.

Am I allowed to get rid of Quest items?
No, and getting rid of them will not allow you to finish future quests.

If I lost a quest item, what do I do?
If you lost an item you can do /fixquest in-game. If it does nothing, you can complete the same quest on another class in order to use that item for the class which lost the quest item. Additionally you can contact support with evidence of your lost item.

How do I do X,Y,Z quest?

Where is Bob The Zombie located and why do I need to know?
Bob The Zombie is a level 1 mob that spawns in the starting city of Ragni. When killed he has a rare chance to drop the item Bob’s Tear, which is needed as part of the Bob’s Lost Soul quest. He spawns in a 95 radius from the coordinate X: -841 Z:-1574 with 30 seconds of spawn delay.

Can I do multiple quests simultaneously?
Yes you can.

I started a Quest where the Non-playable Character (NPC) asks me for multiple items. I have given then to him yet he keeps displaying the same prompt. Did I do something wrong?
Sometimes NPC’s repeat prompts. All you need to care is when “Quest Book Update” appears in chat, meaning that you can progress on the quest.

This is a community quest. You are allowed to share any and all information you find with other people.

Items

List of items that the player is not allowed to possess or sell:

• Vanilla Items (ie: Items from standard Minecraft)
• Duped Items
• Game Master Items
• Glitched Items (ie: From /use menu or server selector menu)

List of items the player is not allowed to sell but can possess:

• Untradeable items
• Vanillas that still work as intended
• Glitched armour (ie: Glitch-dyed)
• Real world items for in-game items and vise versa (This includes packs from the Wynncraft store)

What is considered a scam?
Scamming is considered giving players false information for the persuasion of the sell of the item.
Scamming is considered selling items for more than what a Merchant is selling for.

One of my items glitched for x,y,z reason. Can I get it back?
Wynncraft has a strict no refund policy for lost items, so you will have to buy them or get them again.

What is Grian’s Trusty Ocean Map?
Grian’s Trusty Ocean Map is a map that was given upon the Ocean Update. It was a contest on whom could find Grian first would receive the map in recompense. The map now a days is given sporadically by Grian himself through multiple events. Like Nether Armor, the Map can be bought through players.

What is Salted’s Trusty Poop?
Salted’s Trusty Poop is a vanity item that was dropped by Salted. It was no purpose other than vanity. It can be obtained by Salted or bought through players that have it.

What is Seekers’ Aid?
Seekers’ Aid is a depressing item that was given in the Gavel Week. Gavel Week hosted a Hide & Seek contest, and whom found the hiders would receive an interchangeable token to exchange for the Seekers Aid. Not all tokens have been exchanged by players, and the Seekers’ Aid as of now is only obtainable through players. Selling the ticket is not allowed, selling the Seekers’ Aid is.

What is an Item Bomb?
An item bomb is a purchasable item bought from the store. Upon throwing the bomb, it will explode, giving two items to everyone on the server including the thrower. The level range of the items is dependant on your level.

Nether

What is The Nether in Wynncraft?
Nether is the PVP arena were you can fight with your classes against other players. Nether is a free for all arena. You can access the Nether through the sign in the hub that will teleport you to the Nether or through the portal in-game near Tower of Amnesia and Elkurn, in the corrupted area.

If I am stuck in The Nether. What do I do?
Simply type /lobby or /hub.

If I die on the Nether. Do I lose Soul Points?
You do not lose Soul Points in The Nether.

Spoiler: AFK farming notification

Salutations,

After a recent thread and the influx of players that find it to be unfair, we, the Mod Team, have decided to ban AFK farming/Amadel/Cybel Farming until the bugs involving it are fixed.

Anyone that is found AFK farming or generally farming the Amadel/Cybel area*, without being AFK, will be banned.
The length of the ban and details of the ban will be discussed in the Ban Appeal, you are not guaranteed an unban if you are banned for this reason.
If you find anyone farming the Amadel area please report them for "AFK farming/Amadel/Cybel grinding."

*This includes any and all mobs that are not supposed to drop items, a warning will be given and if you are found grinding mobs that are not supposed to drop items again you will be banned. They are typically minions of a boss.

Spoiler: Resource pack info

Have you accidentally clicked no when the server asked you to download the pack? Here's how to fix!

1. Add play.wynncraft.com to your server list if not already done
2. In the server info menu, enable the server resource packs.
3. Done! The pack should start downloading once you connect to a game server.



Still not fixed? Here's more solutions...
- Update your Minecraft launcher
- Go to your %appdata% folder and click on .minecraft. Then go to server-resource-packs and delete "legacy" or anything Wynn related.

Why do I need this pack to play?
If you do not have the pack, the game won't make much sense to you. Items will be blocks, merchants will have weird prices, etc.

 

Really? If a name ends with an a it doesn't instantly mean it's a girls name.

 

In the first quest (King's Recruit?) the king gives the link to the Wynncraft map... So yeah, immersion is dead before the first quest is even done.

 

It can be seen as him giving you literal map.

 

Eh. I still don't like it. Although, now that you mention it, I WOULD like to see the website map available as an in-game map XD

 

To the general suggestion!
Where all suggestions are either add new classes, fix lag, add housing or fix market.
And let's not forget that even if the whole community supports your idea along with entire content team, adding the suggestion is still soon™ away!
