There are huge recognized people in these forums, like @Yuno F Gasai and @Aarontti (And the mean people, like @Saxophone Smurf (Who should be called grumpy smurf) and @Stormarend )
So why dont the staff, depending on who and what they did, give out titles! Depending on who they think is deserving, of course.

I dont see why not; It is simply cosmetic and has no real function other than to recognize our true heroes and antagonists.
When someone with a rank posts or comments, their name has all this stuff, so I guess that is where the rank goes.

It would seem like a lot of work for just a cosmetic, and why did you add stromarend(no offense I love you(especially because of your profile picture)) but not ganon?

How can adding a title be HARD?
I mean come on its already here, the VIPs and MVPs have titles exactly like it

 

It's unneeded and can already be done. Titles should be given to those who have done something and were recognized by the mods or admins. Being recognized by us can be as simple as word being passed around, but those people can easily be forgotten as they were remembered. Meanwhile Mods or Admins have titles (along with VIP, VIP+, and HERO ranks) are there because they have contributed to the server. It is a pleasant idea, but not a most likely done thing. And yes as before, just put down what you have done in your Profile. This way if people are interested in you, they can see what you have done from there.

 

This is the point, you can ignore it or pay attention, and it wont even affect anything. You just be like OOH, he was a DreamCrusher once! It wont take any work and it is completely selected by admins.

 

I am just a simple pointer of what is and is not wrong for this.
I love the idea, but the reality of this is VERY slim. Plus it takes quite a bit of work to give a title for each individual. Unless you feel up to spending a few hours looking at over 1000 people's accounts and going through each thread.

 

Not like that; A person seen deserving by an admin will get a title. Them and only those people who did gr8 8/8 things get said titles. Good people get the tags.

 

Now that adds into favoritism.
Wynn doesn't want people to get special treatment and everyone needs to be able to get a title and that. If one person gets a title, then other people want that title. It will become a huge mess then. Plus, what and how does this benefit the server? In my eyes, it does not in the slightest bit, it only adds and makes Wynn look like it has favorites.

I mean sure It would be cool for popular fourm posters or litterly anybody but come on
The method you suggested for passing out the ranks give admin a heck of a lot of power
annoy them and boom you lose that special rank you deserve
if you see Gannon or Yuno you know they know what there doing they don't need a title

I guess if the Admins dont like someone they are dammned to never get a rank, but the admins would just be abusing if they could take it away for the reason "You are retarded"

 

The point of being a Mod/Admin is to not be biased. You are supposed to be neutral. Everyone is played fair in their eyes.

 

Excatly if someone is popular on the fourms but the admins don't like em No rank ever
