Make Skillpoints Order Faster

It's a probably dumb General suggestion, but it probably will waste last time of people. Now, for the suggestion!
Suggestion:
Order skill-points faster.
How:
Make a command, will set your skill-points way faster.
The command:

To add strength, do /stat add strength <amount of the points>
To add defense, do /stat add defense <amount of the points>
To add intelligence, do /stat add intelligence <amount of the points>
To add agility, do /stat add agility <amount of the points>
To add dexterity , do /stat add dexterity <amount of the points>

Example: I have 33 intelligence, and I want to have 68 intelligence, I do /stat add intelligence 35 (33 + 35 = 68)
Example: I have 0 defense, and I want to have 20 defense, I do /stat add defense 20 (0 + 20 = 20)

Mistakes

If you have made a mistake, massages will appear:

If you do /stat add <skill-point> 0
-Nothing will appear, and nothing will change.
If you have +3 <skill-point in your stats, and let's say you have 80 <skill-point>, and did /stat add <skill-point> 15, this will appear:
-Your maximum <skill-point> limit is 103, your currently <skill-point> is 80, with your armor, skill-point setup, your max <skill-point> will be 103.

If you do not have enough skill-points left to use what you added, this will appear:
-You do not have enough skill-points to add <skill-point>, you only have <skill-points left> to use with.

If you did a mistake with the skill-points higher than you needed, you have to reset your skill-points for 2 soul points.

Milestones B:
0.) 0 supporters

Hang on, so this counts the skill point bonuses? So if I have, say, +12 dexterity and I did /dexterity set 60, it would actually set it to 48, with the bonus bringing it up to 60? That just seems pointless and confusing, I'd much rather just set the base number. There's also the fact that the compass works just fine. There are a lot of more pressing issues with coding.

 

Fact is, devs are too lazy to fix guilds, much less add in features request by the public. SoonTM

 

Rather than /stat set use /stat add
And have one command with branches rather than 5 different commands, it's easier that way.
like /stat add defense 2
And you put two skill points into defense.
So if your defense was 68, it would now be 70.

 

Meh, it's a fine suggestion, it's just that there isn't really much of a difference. I could see this being able to save at most a few seconds setting your skill points. Plus what makes Wynncraft better than most servers is that there aren't a whole lot of messy commands that you are required to use. I can't tell you how many times I tried out a "brand new MMORPG" and then I didn't know what I was doing because the only way to know what you were doing is to dig through pages upon pages of commands.

While this command isn't required, it's one less command players have to deal with. Overall, it just doesn't add that much to the table.

They've been trying to fix guilds ever since they broke, but some things do take priority since guilds are ultimately minor. It's not an easy thing to just sit down and fix. If it was, it'd have been fixed already.

 

well i can tell that guilds are important because its what keeps a good amount of players in this game
if it wasnt because of my guild, i would go inactive again
but yeh i see what you say with that they arent a priority
also that guild wars could be fun if it wasnt because of how freaking glitchy they are

Ffs they're reworking the code so they can update faster.

 

Perhaps when you click the skill it prompts you to type how many SP you want to add to it in chat.

 

It's still not that useful. It's not really the suggestion itself, its more so the problem as a whole isn't that big.

 

You've been on Wynn too long, not all suggestions are to fix problems.
Some are just to make things easier, or add new stuff.

 

If there is something in the game that is so hard, useless, broken, or missing to the point where you want to change the game, that is the definition of a problem. All suggestions in some way or another solve a problem in the game, no matter how big or small. I know that you meant that not every suggestion has to be a game changer, but a suggestion still needs to be held up to some standard. I just don't think it'll be worth the coder's time to try to implement this if it only saves a second or two.

Some suggestions are to just add content.
OR add to quality of life.

 

An absence of quality or content is a problem ;)

 

From what I'm seeing, this command would allow you to just add whatever skill points you want whenever you want. That doesn't sound very... I don't know.
