a military base should have some warriors since their skins have chain and leather armor on them
    ________________________________
The meaning of the attack is that when they've killed the villager, they want more and they went mad with it
And the meaning of this quest is to show you that they are not entirely cultivated, this should be the opposite of Hunger of gerts part 2, In Part one, you are quite neutral with Gerts (not entirely, I know, but not in a war), In part two, you're on their side so there should be a quest in which you are on the opposite side.
OK, They aren't that stupid, but as I said earlier, when they wanted more meat, they got mad (I know I should add it to the post, and I will ASAP )
    ________________________________
I can'T give as an Excuse the stupidity, but I can use the word Madness (When I'll add it to the thread which I will do ASAP)
    ________________________________
You'll right, I'll try to change that :D
    ________________________________
i already have a sollution for this.
the Villager put a special kind of posion on his body and told gerts (A posion that affects you only when you eat it, but you can put it on your skin )

I couldn't find A way of solving this problem, but your's is very Good thanx for an Idea

They're warriors with spears that don't use magic, because they're wearing armour. Isn't wearing armour sort of common sense on a battlefield, no matter what weapon you're using? I think this combat would be a fantastic opportunity to to see the magical prowess of the villagers in full force. You could include use of protective enchantments, timed spells, magical traps and the like. You could even organise it as a sort of tower defense type situation (you are, after all, defending a fort).
This seems like a rather convoluted way to get around a rather small issue. How about have him kept for information, or simply have him not know why they're not eating him? Your idea still doesn't solve the issue though. If the poison is only on his skin, can't the Gerts wash it off? Wouldn't it make more sense to have something toxic to Gerts but not villagers?
So you dragged Big Butch's body out of the deepest part of the battery farm, and brought him back to the gerts to eat? Why would you do that? It's made clear that you brought plenty of food back for the Gerts. Also, the madness thing seems very out of character, and the 'they went mad' idea seems to be rather unsatisfactory, as it basically undermines everything that Hunger of Gerts 1 and 2 tried to establish. It's also important to know that you're not really fully on the side of the Gerts in Part II. You basically infiltrate their ranks and go investigating based on information they give you. You're basically tricking them for your own curiosity. Also, you're not neutral in part one. You're sent by villagers and spend a lot of time killing gerts. Also, Hunger of Gerts is one of the more nuanced questlines morally, as there's no clear light and dark. The Gerts and the Villagers a both horrible and stupid in their own ways, and you end up helping them out with a conflict their too incompetent to sort out on their own. In the end, you independently achieve a resolution to the conflict, dealing significant damage to both sides. To have one of them suddenly go mad and launch an unprovoked assault on the other almost feels like an insult to the original. Basically, I'd recommend finding an alternative enemy and writing the Gerts out of the quest entirely. An idea I have is the Felrocs, who have quite extensive camps but no backstory. From what I can tell they're original to Wynn too.

I've given there a good solution now, I've almost completely re-done the post and improved many mistakes, but because It was me, who wrote it, I gave there many more of the mistakes, so If you find any, please let me know

In my opinion a good idea, but I've got some suggestions for you to improve.
Change the dialogues a bit, since it he has been in a prison, he might not have such a perfect information.
Also I think that the battle should happen like so:
    • The team of humans could be a few warriors (armour stands), who supposedly attack a visibly small group of Gerts.
    • The thing should happen in kind of some pre fight prepared zone, so that only a small group of people have to be shown.
    • And have some cut scenes of a fight. Each with more bodies appearing.
    • Since the battle has just happened the blood should look fresh.
Also the cut scenes will be hard to make for builders, because almost 10 will be needed to show the battle in high standarts.
But generally the quest would be fun for the player to experience a battle.

Perhaps add a few more stages?
For example: to get something else before going to the fortification.

The quest would be more fun if you had to wonder trough some secret passages et cetera.

I like the idea though <3

Dialogues Aren'T really my thing, but I'll try.
I didn'T want it to be cutscenes I wanted a new type of quest in which you will do a battle with real mobs.
The Villagers (not humans as you said) Will be real mobs, but will have the same config as Guards you see in cities.
The Gerts would be mobs as well and you will help the willagers, that means You will kill gerts as well.
The hard thing would be for you (actually not you builders, but you as the whole crew) Make the map thingy work
The map thingy means that you will put little statues of soldiers on the map and then when the real battle begins the soldiers will be where you put the statues (with statues meaning 0. something block tall)

Oh indeed i see what you mean!
The battle might be a bit difficult to code though!
Might be some arenas (broken tower spots et cetera) where there might be a mob spawner, that could make it work.
Since, the battle is supposed to happen in kind of open space, i had an idea of the arrangement for difficulty.
The idea of statues becoming live is amazing!
In the battlefield there could be some broken building to enchant the difficulty! I mean wondering trough ruins, et cetera while in fight. Maybe a secret basement?
Also the player could have the opportunity to destroy / steal some of the Gert supplies.
Generally i believe the quest should at least have 5 stages, preferably 7-9. I'm not a GM though, but as a builder i believe that would make the quest much more interesting!!!
It would be a shame to have such a great idea to be denied because of dialogues and stages/difficulty.
After all level 91 isn't for an easy quest :tongueout:

If i find the idea to be more appealing to be ill make sure it reaches a high standing GM.
At the moment all to fix is dialogues and stages.
    Open for further info <3

P.S. GM stands for Game Master, they make quests and stuff.

The third stage is actually at least 3 stages I am just lazy to separate them and the rocks were ment to be the ruins as you said, but wheras there will be a ruined houses or rocks is on you, builders

I don't think using the Gerts would be a good idea, I think using other mobs found in the Canyon would be better as the Gerts aren't exactly evil, they are just hungry and dim-witted. E.G: Use "Jinkos" , "Lyrans" etc. But other than that, format it correctly with colour-coding and perhaps more pictures, and it could be considered good :D

I agree with this well to be honest, but I believe this a great idea and maybe with a few changes of an idea (maybe not Gert) this could make a remarkable quest.

This quest requires two completed quests first, is kind of underleveled for the area, and puts you in a losing situation off of the bat.

I still like the concept but not how it's executed.
