Ideally, this would be implemented. However, the state of our server is far from ideal, and there is simply no point in wasting developer time on such a frugal and unimportant manner. Going through thousands of lines of command block code would take hours, not even mentioning the extreme boredom one would face. Besides, Jum Jum and his team of slaves have better things to do, like Dern.

Just take a chill pill, ignore the errors, and enjoy the damn game.

I feel like if its more about the character than you it should be more about the characters gender than the player's gender

 

However, the character is not given a defined gender. We are a Wynn soldier, and for the majority of the game, we are free to give this soldier whatever gender, appearance, and name we like. This makes it very odd when the game throws in a small line that assumes that the ambiguous character is male. If we are playing a male character, this should be made clear at the beginning, not just referenced a few times. Really, the characters and the players both vary in gender, so the point should not come up at all.

Also, I would like to contest the 'waste of CT's time' idea. It's very simple to go back and change a few lines of dialogue when directed to them, I've seen numerous threads where GMs have promptly corrected spelling and grammar issues and the like pointed out by the community. All it will take is a few minutes for a single GM.

 

But how on earth wuold the game tell you you're a guy in other ways? It wouldnt make sense for a dialogue to just say "Btw you are a boy just wanna let you know"

Quests are made in YML, meaning that they are specific files, meaning the GM has to download them, then edit them, then reupload them which would take mroe time. Not to mention checking every quest for gender mentions

 

it has nothing to do with my gender lol, the whole point of this is the characters. also, you kinda contradict yourself, you just said you should be told you are a boy at the start of the game.
