Quest Why Isn't This Bug Fixed Yet?

Before you say "why isn't this in the bugs section" My stupid email isn't letting me get an account to do that.

I was doing the Royal Trails quest and i got to the "flying the ship task" And it, it was the hardest thing i have ever done, bearing in mind i have done Qira and ???. And the problem is, even if i get better gear and more people to help, i still won't be able to complete it.

So, i saw the "10 min til server restarts" thing but i was like "i am only on my 4th go, i will be able to complete it by then" Obviously i couldn't. And after my 50th try and much swearing I had made some progress and i think i might have only needed 2/3 more annoying manoeuvres and then BAM the server restarted. When i went back on, i wasn't on the airship. I was on the clouds below, completely stuck. So i did the thing everyone would, which is /kill. And guess where i ended up? Not Ahmsord, not Kandon-Beda, in fact not ANYWHERE in the sky islands. I actually ended up at the flipping caravan man before you enter ragni. Lucky for me i had a teleport scroll to Kandon-Beda. But what if i didn't? I would have had to walk all the way across the map, which would have taken me at least 20 mins.

Please, at least fix it so if you are in the middle of a quest that is off the usual map, (like when you are flying the airship). Please make it so you are at the closest city AT LEAST, to where you can easily carry on the quest.

EDIT: Also, now i probably have to go back to the pirate camp, which takes 5 min to "teleport across the islands" to get to. And i will most likely have to do the first stage all over again. (which is the fight stage, where there are 3 levels of fighting).

That very certain part of the quest is currently being reworked from what I've heard.
And their current spawning system just makes you teleport to the closest area that classifies as a city, Which is why you might end up in places like the tutorial spawn area after dying in certain quests, "Fixing" that will most likely involve coders.
Also this does not classify as a bug, Just something that was not given any thought into.

 

The problem is the lag, you will restart a lot of time because server are lagging, btw it also happened to me.

 

Same thing happend to me and now I don't want to do the quest on any class. They should put a grid of tripwire under the cloud layer so if you fall you just get tp back into the airship

 

this bug wouldn't happen if people would actually do the airship correctly.

well good for you but it's still buggy from what I've heard

 

It might not be bad for you, but it is downright awful for people with poor connections.
