The gambler​

The gambler is a new NPC that spawns in bars and gambling areas around the world. Interacting with these gamblers brings up a new GUI, This is split into Two sections. Top slot and bottom slot, the top slot is a lot smaller (3 Slots tall). In the top divide, the far left slots are divided into a new part, this has a tick box and a paper showing the chances. You place your bet into the top divide. Once you have placed your bet you can click the tick box to confirm. In the bottom slot 5 papers appear. You can pick any of these five papers, four of them are incorrect and one of them is correct. You do not know witch is witch. Pick the incorrect and your bet is divided by 2 and given back to you, Pick the correct one and you gain double your original bet.

Yea its a bland idea and probably wont work but I thought I would try suggesting it...

 

I feel like a 1/3 chance to double your bet is way too high, at least on top of only halving your bet if you lose. Say your bet is 64 LE. You bet 3 times, lose twice and win once. You get 3 stacks back (32 LE twice and 128 LE once) on average.

In other words, you typically won't lose anything. For the chance to get two stacks from one, and a practically non-existent risk, it's not really balanced at all. This would only kill the economy for the whateverth time.

Horses are actually pretty safe.

I guess he changed the chances from 1/3 to 1/5 but your math is wrong, from three bets you get three stacks but you had to pay three stacks to bet.
Anyways with the new chances you will lose money on average.

Why would anyone do that

 

No, I just didn't repeat that you had to pay 3 stacks. That's why I said "You typically won't lose anything" and not "You'll typically gain 3 stacks"

 

I think it should be a spin wheel where you can win some emeralds or lose

 

There could be different games and a spinning wheel would be a nice one I guess
