    As you know, in Wynn there are a few tiers:
    Common
    Unique
    Rare
    Legend
    Mythic
    Set

    What I was thinking, that maybe you could go to an NPC and upgrade a tier of an item. It is a different thing.
    Example:
    [3] Birch Oak Shears [Level 12]

    So the thing before the shears is the Tier.

    What does tier do?
    1. It costs 20EB to upgrade the tier once.
    What it does is it upgrades BASE DAMAGE/PROTECTION by 1 every tier. Great money sink, and it also kind of benefits the player. Then you could use 1LE to up the damage by 64? You might think: One stack o' LE is enough to get a GSet! Nope. The price rises by 15Eb every tier upgrade. Suppose you wanted to go [100] > [101] on an item? You would need to pay 170EB.

    Thats all. Oh, and I also think it should be allowed to prestige items.

    [1] [3] Birch Oak Shears [Level 12]
    This pair of shears is now at it's 1st prestige. If each tier takes that much money, reset it! You will keep the damage but lose the tiers and gain a prestige.
    What does a prestige cost?
    10LE for the first time. That seems like a lot, trust me it is not. When you get to tier 200, 300....
    Every consecutive time, +4LE.

    Max upgrades:
    Common: 5 Tier upgrades per level
    Unique: 3 Tier upgrades per level
    Rare: 2 Tier upgrades per level
    Legendary: 1 tier upgrade per level
    Mythical: 1 Tier upgrade per level
    Set: 1 Tier upgrade per level
    Mythical Effects
    Mythical effects are effects people might want to use. They are even more expensive then the normal tiers.

    So what this does, it costs something called power. An item, when used to hit [Weapon] or absorbs damage, [Armour] It gains power. Maybe per kill 5% power to a weapon, and every hit taken maybe 1% power for amour?

    With this, you can use this and pay exactly 1LE for the first time and add 32EB to the price every following time, and what this does is that it takes all the charge and emeralds, and it adds 1% to the effects of an item.

    It can only be upgraded to the maximum the certain item can go. Suppose walk speed, you can make it from 40% / 45% to 45% / 45%.

    This is basically normal damage added with no slots.

    so I could pour 10 stacks of le into my normal bobs mythic or hive wand and just prance around one hitting everything?

    Selling - Mythic Stone Hewn Stick! 5300 damage level 2 item! 30 Stacks!
    It would add 4096 damage. That is a lot. Remember, it says 10EB and not 10LE.

    you are forgetting that the price goes up each time
    if I calculated correctly 10 stacks will be enough for 126 upgrades, almost doubling the damage

    Wow this is actually isn't that bad of an idea. But I think that the kind of tiers in this system wouldn't have really any connection with the normal tiers as it is more of a incrementaly costlier upgrade rather than defying the general rarity and strength of an item (I say general because there are exceptions I AM LOOKING AT YOU PURE) and really this has nothing to do with that, so maybe just calling it enchantments or something like that would do the same thing.

    Also is it just me or is this a system like in thoose idle games but instead of whatever you get when you click you use emeralds? Not saying that is a bad thing (I've had an obsession with idle games lately) just found it kinda weird.

    Definetly think the thread needs some work, as said this system doesn't seem to have much to do with tiers in the original sense, also I think it would be better to make the upgades cost icrementaly larger ammounts of emeralds (10 - 20 - 35 - 60 - 100) instead of adding a flat value every time In order to make sure you can't power a piece of gear up to ridiculous amounts (at least not without ridiculously ridiculous amounts of emeralds).
    Also since elements and powder specials were aded the game tended more towards leting you customize every part of your build and I think a system like this would be much better if it allowed you to choose what you want to upgrade instead of just giving a straing damage upgrade or extra health bonus.
    Maybe if your build has really bad walk speed you could kinda nudge it a bit to the faster side by umm... what should the process be called? I'll go with enchanting for, nudge it a bit to the faster side by enchanting your armour with extra walk speed. Maybe you just don't like how slow a weapon is so you enchant it a bunch of times until eventually it gets better attack speed. I think that would be a way better way to impliment this because otherwise it's just a really shallow money sing (which I mean would be good for the economy kinda but I think it would be much better actually being an important system interacting with the other systems allowing you to create the gear that best suits your playstyle.

    Also please make a poll so people can actually vote if they like the idea or not so if many people do like it the developers can actually see it.

    With the new prices the tenth upgrade will cost more than 3le, it's not worth it

    Interesting concept,


    perhaps make it similar like item re-identifying costs,

    but more expensive

    each time you upgrade it gets more expensive,


    until it locks out

    this way nothing becomes OP



    basically im suggesting:

    increase price

    add a max upgrade amount

    This doesn't fit with the way wynn works. Why would a normal or unique become a rare, a legendary or even a mythic, just by boosting damage/defense? That's not the only thing that changes with each tier, and it's also pretty broken.
