Short version: To post in genral suggestions, you need to read "How to suggest".

This is a simple suggestion, so i will just get to the point. To post in genral suggestions, you need to read "How to suggest".
This is to reduce the number of low-quality and repeat suggestions.
@Thunder suggested that this would be done for all rule threads (i think mayble "Are you stuck" as well)

The other main reason for this is to reduce the amount of flame new pepole who make a overused/bad suggestion to give them a better impression of the Forum community.

And that's it! Thanks for reading!
    Q&A ahead (WIP)

    Q: won't this just restrict unneccessarily/be ineffective?
A: reading something for like 40 secends restrictive?
In order for it to be effective, you will have to atleast scroll to the bottom and stay on the post for atleast 20 secends, so its not as easy to cheese.

    Q: is this possible?
A: If you don't think it is possible, check this. https://xenforo.com/community/resources/categories/development-tutorials.36/
    Or read this:
(but it might take time to code)

    1.0 released
    1.1 added thunders suggestion
1.2 added link to prove it can be done
    1.3 added new poll option
1.4 revamped thread, added Q&A (WIP) and salty quote

I'm not sure this is possible
Even if it is, people could just click the thread and exit it without reading

Mayble make it so it only If you scroll to the bottom, so If they do it they still have to read it (but no way is foolproof)

If this were possible, it should be done to the rules thread first.

    From the xenforo homepage:
    "
XenForo is built to be the most extensible and flexible community software ever. Check out the huge array of add-ons already available in the resource manager or get help with writing yor own addons with the XenForo framework"

They can make stuff for it. GG

A company like XenForo won't make a feature for 1 forum only though... It would be good though

Look, know about the popup things that check If a member is new? This is like them, exept instead of a popup you gain access to posting, and you need to read How to suggest instead of being new.

Also, THIS is in the website: a link. Look where it takes you

Honestly we're probably better off just making sure there's always somebody there to criticize a suggestion. Doing stuff like this would probably end up being ineffectual and annoying at best.

    Sorry, what?
I meant that anyone can make plugins to add to their Xenforo forum. You would need to have experience in the field of coding (I believe Apollo would) to make said mod/plugin. Install or add the plugin/mod and there you have it. Thing is, you have to make it.

Oh that makes a lot more sense. THING IS, they made wynn. Do you understand that? Also, let me show How simple it actually is: at its easiest, it's something like "If memberA_read_HowToSuggest=false,
    Then memberA_premission_post_genralsuggestions = false"

I know that that is not the correct code, but it does seem simple enougt to implement. Becides, you said it is possible. The code language may lenghten the process a bit, but it will still be possible. Let's end this debate here. We Do not want to make a flame war, and i think We got each other' point
