I've been dwelling on this ever since the Gameplay Update and it is just now that I've decided to address this major issue with Sand-Swept Tomb. You know how all the other dungeons have dialogue to give meaning and lore to the dungeon? Here, that's not the case. The only thing that pops up is at the beginning of the dungeon with these words: "As you enter the tomb, you hear only a mysterious silence..." with the tagline of Sand-Swept Tomb being "Right into the lion's den..."

This dungeon does not make any sense. What is it about this particular tomb that makes it a dungeon? Who is Hashr, and why is he called the "Master of the Unexpected"? Without any dialogue from Hashr, this dungeon falls flat, fails to suck us into it, and becomes bland, which makes Sand-Swept Tomb to easily be the worst dungeon out of them all.

There needs to be dialogue if we are to answer the questions I have put out above and get us a bit interested in the tomb.

Compared to Fallen Factory it may be short, but Decrepit Sewers it not really longer. Basically two grinding parts and a boss fight (Ill ignore the jump and run in DS as its done in like 20 seconds). But what really makes (C)SST short is that nowadays its only done in big groups. Usually there are dungeon runs with 20+ players (you could do it with only around 5 of course if you have people who know what to do and who are able to do it) and that decreases the time by a lot.

I agree, I and nobody else have a single clue who hashr is and where he came from. While I'm here, I'll try to answer some of your questions.

The tag line for sand swept tomb is "Right into the lion's den" because hashr's second form looks like a lion, and the tomb is his den? Idk. Anyway, hashr is the "master of the unexpected because you first fight his "human" form, that does barely any damage and is really squishy. Then, the floor falls, and you have to fight his "true" form, which is the lion.

I agree that sand swept tomb is the worst dungeon, because it's way too short, and we have no lore behind this particular tomb and who hashr is. All you have to throughout the dungeon is kill, run, kill, run, and boss fight. Not to mention that the fight with hashr sucks too. At level 36, his Multihit does pretty much enough damage to one shot you, unless you're a warrior with all your sp in defense

The fifth dungeon in the game being as short as the first, however...is that, in of itself, NOT an issue?
The boss isn't the problem. The problem is that aside from the wave combat(which, like any combat scenario, will eventually get old), the dungeon is simply uninteresting. It's too easy. The arrow traps are no threat, the big grinding room is just tedious to get through, and only threat the falling bridge poses is glitching out and sticking; there's literally no way it can inflict damage to you.

Hashr is weak, honestly; your comment about the Multihits is simply incorrect. At that level(36), the average health a player will have is just above 900. Hashr inflicts 90-280 damage, and his Multihits inflicts 15%, 20%, or 25% damage. It's heavy, so that's 11 hits, which means his Multihits will inflict, at base, 149-770 damage. A decent chunk of health, but that 770 is an optimal result, if he gets a 25% damage Multihits(a 1/5 chance) and is he gets a maximum damage roll each time. The average is closer to 407. It's easy to avoid, and he really has nothing else threatening that he CAN do, unless the dungeon glitches out and does one of three things:

    A) Fail to dampen the fall damage you take, which will cause you to lose nearly all of your health
    B) Respawn the fake Hashr quickly enough that it falls down with you, so you're fighting two enemies
    C) Both, as it's always want to do with me

I think he's called that because when you beat the boss it's like: ermagewd the boss isn't over the floor breaks and there's the actual boss.

@Selvut283 I decided to do this just for you
I decided to take gear that was appropriate for people around the level range on my level 101 Mage. Here is the gear:

    Brise
    Springtrap
    Spinneret
    Mud
    Old concentration
    Spider ring
    Laen's curiosity
    Witherhead's Tailsman
    Waives Raiser

(I know this gear sucks for level 39 ish players, plz don't judge)
Anyway, with that gear, i have around 1400 health, which is because you get 5+ health every level, so I have more health here than I would at the normal level. I only put skill points to accommodate for the gear that needed skill points, which means no points in defense. I didn't have any thunder defense either. I did the sand swept tomb dungeon, and got to hashr. I killed the first form, and then I let the second form Multihit me. I found that if I stand right in front of him with this amount of health, he could shred right through it, ending in death. However, if you stand farther away from him, he does about 800, which is reasonably close to the 770 you mentioned. But still, if he charged right next to you, and if you didn't have enough mana to ice snake or teleport, then you could get Multihit and die.

My main problem with the hashr fight is that it's not unique and interesting. Every dungeon boss up to this point has had a strategy to defeat them, but hashr just doesn't. The falling floor is kind of unique, but the only thing that both hashrs do is charge around and Multihit, which brings absolutely nothing new to the table, since a lot of bosses (and even mobs in general) have Multihit, charge, or both.

Honestly I think that room and fight is better with the Falling gravel it creates some uniqueness to the fight, and if you try to fight him in the maze of the gravel stacks 2 high without jumping on top it's pretty fun

Well, Mages and Archers have less defense than normal, so they would take extra damage.

We'll round to 150-770 damage base and check potential outputs.

    Warriors: 120-616 damage

    Assassins: Base damage

    Mages: 180-924 damage

    Archers: 210-1078 damage

As for taking extra damage when you were closer, fucking goddammit Jumla, he said he fixed that bug.
