Timmy Tod, the Tax collector, will come around every month, demanding 20% of everyone's emeralds. On the 1st of every month, everyone will come into the world, and they have to put all their emeralds in their bank vault. Then, we will somehow take 10% of them. And this will work, because they will be TPed into a room which the only way to get out is to press a TP button, which clears your inventory of all emeralds, or simply restricts you from tping out. This should probably and maybe help balance the economy.
This will apply to all classes.
Also, every day starting from the day they log into wynn that they dont pay tax, tax increases by 1% or something like that.
Q1 - What happens to the emeralds, and what do you get?
    Look on the 3rd page.

Q2 - What if you just spent all your money?
You will be on lockdown for 1 week before tax. This makes emeralds untradeable.
What if you just spend them before that?
Then it wouldnt really make a difference.

Hope you guys agree with me!

Ok back with a sorta little review,

I really cant get on much right now, but basically as I see this it doesn't fix the economy

    Just makes everyone more poor

Your removing 20% of all income per month, which can be worked around by transferring all items into gear or weapons, then re selling them on the second

making everyone more poor does not fix the economy either,

Its only 20% so if you had 1LE it becomes 64 /5 x 4 EB
It doesnt necessarily mean you will lose most of your emeralds, it means it will balance the economy. It will not have a big effect on people who have very little money.

Then you get taxed on whatever day you log on to wynncraft.

Another question I got - What if you dont play for a month?

    You only pay 1 tax.
    ________________________________
Another question - What if I cant fit all my LE into my bank vault?

If the bank vault detector sees that there are 54 stacks of LE, or senses that it took 10.8 LE as tax, it will spare your inventory. It shall also give you a token, which I would give to your bank, so that you could throw it in a hopper and not get taxed again, so if there were 10 classes you would be taxed for 200% of your LE.

The token would say July Tax Token : Untradeable or something like that.

    No just no
Ok, so first of all this would just make mythics more valuable if everyone has less money
two, if you only have 1 emerald how does that work
three, if you can get any item that means unlimited hive items and other stuff...
four, why do people have to pay to play Wynn? This doesent sound like it will add anything Fun to the game it will just be a pain in the ass to deal with every month
five, the devs already have trouble keeping up with everything they have to code we don't need to add a complicated tax system
    Also add a voting thing

    nope
less money around = less people affording the buy of mythics = prices drops due to people needing to sell stuff someday

I can understand what you wanna do, but explicitly calling it a rant & stating that no one will like it might not be the most encouraging message for the author.
While the core-idea that something has to be done to reduce emerald influx is a good one, I don't think just taking the money away without any justified reason is the best concept. Encouraging players to continue playing is a nice thing too, but that should be done with incentives instead of penalities for not being logged in for a day.
The tax-star would pretty much make everything that's not a mythic worthless, and I am not sure how that would fit in lore-wise.
The "lockdown-week" would also prevent trade completely, which is not a good thing either.

    So for your questions, answers.
1 - Answered by The Grox
2 - If you had 1 emerald then what do you think, you cant take 20% of an emerald, however that isnt possible.
3 - Unlimited hive items and stuff - Thats not allowed because its good stuff, its just a compensation meant to make people feel ok about losing money
4 - Dont have to pay money emeralds only, and another answer - The market has so much money in it right now. To the point where RESELLING mythical items makes you a bunch of money. So lazy, buying to sell them. What do you think? If this does not happen, mythics will actually be USED more instead of being sold for money. Mythics became money, not an item.
5 - The devs can do this in their own time, not to be rude or anything but they are getting paid for a reason.
Add a voting thing - No, that would just give people more items whic

Here's a scenario, let's say you just hit (insert price here) stacks of le and you can finally afford that godly stratiformis you saw on the market. It took you months to achieve and you are finally ready to buy it, its is the 29th of July and you ask to buy it. They say they can't get on until the 2nd of august. But then, oh no, Timmy the ass collector takes your money and you can no longer afford it. What do you do? You just lost some your hard earned money and now you can't afford the strati. Think about that
Edit: no legendary can make up for a "lost" strati

You guys keep coming with more questions.... Answer time....
Taking money away from people for no apparent reason is not what is happening here. We are removing money from the grounds. And in return, you get ONE tax star which can get you ONE item which YOU want and is UNTRADEABLE. Cant duplicate it, and you get one every month in return for all your emeralds.
As for trade, it is making EMERALDS only untradeable, blocking selling and buying.

1 - We need to be taxed because the economy has so much money in circulation that items are being bought just to be resold. Not very nice, and definitely not the point of legends and mythics. Its ok to sell something you no longer require, but you buy something you dont need to sell it at a higher price. We want to clean the economy here!

2 - The tax star CANNOT be abusable.
    ONE tax star
    ONE item
    and is UNTRADEABLE

3 - So inactive people who do not come on Wynn during the tax period will be taxed and start getting interested when they log on. IF they do not log on for 1 month, in which there is another tax, the previous month tax is cleared. However, they would not have earned anything, either.

I understand that it's not abuseable, but the issue is that the whole "achievement" behind getting and farming for an item is lost. Players could just choose whatever they need, and the real demand and search for those specific items (excluding mythics) would be gone. The price people pay for it would also vary extremly, so why bother with farming when you know that a part of it is going to be taken away / you will get your free item nonetheless?

True, we need to drain the influx, but there are other ways to do that, such as additional fees for some content or ingame diversion.

Every response has been negative so far so I think we can safely say this won't be added
reselling mythics is not bad because some people actually do want to use mythics and it gives a chance for other people to use it. If people just hoarded there mythics then no one would get to try out the ones they want because of how rare they are.
