Let's say the glitch happens to me and I film it and then pick up the item or let someone else pick it up. Then I'll get refunded and collect the original item

Ok first off the norefund policy doesn't exist because we don't like players. It exists because people would abuse it if we gave them the items they are requesting. Everyone could tell us: "Yo staff, I had that amazing Fatal but lost it. It was maxed out. Please refund it."
Secondly faking the evidence is not hard even if you log in from the lobby you could just cut the video after choosing the class and add something that didn't happen on WynnCraft.
Furthermore your screen shows which items you lost, but not which stats they had. Would it be fair to give you unidentified items? No! Yes, you lost them which doesn't seem fair either, but if players got unidentified items there is a chance they get even better items that are worth way more.
Now to the point whose fault it is. If a player drops something into a hopper it's definitely not the servers fault. The player pressed the required key to drop it so it's the fault of the player. If it's due to skill points after logging in: yes that can be considered the fault of the server, but it could be prevented by keeping empty inv slots.
Also it used to be way worse, because armor used to drop if they had skill point requirements, not only if accessories popped off that the armor pieces needed. Players lost items worth a few stacks due to this issue and you are not alone with that. The issue with armor got fixed and devs tried to fix it for accessories as well, but were not able to do it for some reason.
So finally I'm sorry for your loss, but due to said reasons the norefund policy won't be changed. It may seem unfair for single players, but actually it keeps up the fairness among all players. I'm not sure what the refactor update will bring, but maybe it will fix this.

PS: I lost items as well before and after I became moderator, but no I didn't get them back. I'm pretty sure most people on Wynn already lost items due to bugs.
