Dungeon Hoppers.

Well I guess the better response would be: "it's not really the server's fault if you drop your items blindly into a hopper". Instead, the solution offered wasn't a great solution, in my opinion anyway.

The issue I have with the "public chest" system in the way you suggested it is that it could be used to trade untradeable or quest items.

However, I have suggested a new system to safeguard against this, which doesn't use a chest or a hopper, and some places in the fallen factory make use of this system in a similar fashion. I can't confirm whether or not my idea will be implemented.

 

So if I put in an untradable what will happen?

Not true, you can make it so you can open a lootchest that won't despawn without letting you open all the chests on the game

 

Maybe make an npc that take the items so it wont be abusable

But, there's still the issue of illegal trading.

 

Yea, although other ways to trade those do exist
