New Class Idea: Paladin/gladiator

    Now i know what most of you are thinking, "Oh another cringy class idea..." Well, this is just an idea lol dont judge me...

    New Class idea: Paladin (normal) and Gladiator (reskin possibly for heros)
    Rather than protector, its gladiator for more effect.

    So this class is mainly a defender that is a REALLY good support class. It will make fights much easier to do with this class nearby. (in general alone isn't very good, due to lack of damage)

    First, its weapon: War axe i suppose or axes in general
    i dunno they make the weapon if they dont like war axes
    Its melee attack is like assassins and warriors, but it has a special ability that soon at higher levels can be used for support.
    Melee: When you hit an enemy, you will get a bit healed, maybe about 5% of your max health per hit (btw this class doesn't have that many damage spells...), which later can be very helpful with one of your spells.
    If you attack with 0/100 hp, you will get healed 5 per hit, so say it was 0/15000, you will get healed by around 750 health (if you were at 0 hp somehow, it will take exactly 20 hits)
    Attacking instead now heals differently
    Super Fast weapons heal 1% of health
    Very Fast weapons heal 3% of health
    Fast Weapons heal 4%
    Normal Weapons heal 5%
    Slow Weapons heal 5%
    Very slow Weapons heal 6%
    Super slow weapons heal 8%
    I was lazy to add them in so read these

    Spells:
    Spell 1: Spectral Shield / Protective Aura (Unlocked at level 1)
    Creates a shield that damages any enemies that attempt to enter. It will follow you and face toward the direction you're looking in until the time is up. If a player is inside the shield with you, they will also be protected. Shifting + Punching while the shield is active will turn it into particles so you can see while you fight, and doing it again turns it to the normal texture.
    Ranged attacks can still pass through, and there is no knockback caused.
    Using a pooder spell wont affect the particle
    The shield just damages enemies that walk through rather than preventing them from entering to prevent opness
    The shield also gives slowness so its hard to move while its active
    looking straight up will disable the shield
    Mana increased
    Upgrades changed


    Level 1: 5 seconds, 8 mana

    Level 2 (unlocked at level 16): 10 seconds, 7 mana + Easy Grip: Makes you slightly faster while moving with the shield

    Level 3 (Unlocked at level 36): 15 seconds, 6 mana + Payback: Gives weakness I or so to enemies passing through the shield

    Spell 2: Spectral Warhorse / Royal Steed (Unlocked at level 11)
    this spell creates a horse for a few seconds, going at around the speed of a 15/20 horse. The horse will despawn if you click shift.

    speed decreased

    Level 1: 5 Seconds, 11 Mana

    Level 2 (Unlocked at level 26): 8 Seconds, 10 Mana + Charge: any enemies you ram into take a lot of knock back and damage.

    Level 3 (Unlocked at level 46): 12 Seconds, 9 Mana + High Speeds: Goes at the speed of a 25/30 horse.
    (i know it may sound like a budget horse but the horse damages enemies, which is decent)

    Spell 3: Fighter / Royal Guard (Unlocked at level 21) (btw i have no picture for these sorry :/)
    Spawns 1 fighter (always spawns one) that will last around 5 minutes if it is not killed. It will be a fighter to assist you in fighting (its just an npc). It will just be a melee character, without any spells. Its damage and health depends on your health and damage. Say you had 100 health and 100 damage, they will have 20% of that amount, so 20 health and 20 damage. There damage and health will be the amount of when you summoned it, so if you switch armor it will still do 10 health and 10 damage on a hit. Attempting to spawn in one more than the max will just replace one of the currently spawned ones.

    Level 1: 10 Mana, Maximum 1 Fighter

    Level 2 (Unlocked at level 36): 10 Mana, Maximum 2 Fighters (only spawns one on casting, but you can spawn 2 now) + Determination (lol): increased damage and health (instead of 20% its 25%)

    Level 3 (Unlocked at level 56): 10 Mana, Maximum 3 Fighters + Defensive formation: You take 10% less damage with every fighter alive.

    Spell 4 (the most op spell ever lol, and this spell makes it a big support class): Spirit link / Angelic Touch
    This spell basically makes it so when you cast the spell, you and that person shares healing, so say you hit a mob and got 10 health back like usual, but they will only get 20% of that amount, so 2 health. A particle around there body will be created to know whos being shared.

    Level 1 (Unlocked at level 31): 1 max link, 10 mana, 10 seconds.

    Level 2 (Unlocked at level 46): 1 max link, 10 mana, 15 seconds + Extra Support: Fighting npcs (counting Fighters and Royal Guards) can also be shared healing

    Level 3 (Unlocked at level 66): 3 max links, 19 mana per link, 30 seconds + Group support: Everyone linked to you will be supported, meaning if you have 3 other people and you hit a mob and get 10 health back, everyone linked gets 2 health back.

    Now i made some pictures of each spell except for Fighter/Royal guard because those are human mobs.

    I don't know. The idea seems good, but at the same time there could be put more thought into the weapon and base stats. Saying that we, the readers, should figure that out is either a way to say "let's make this class together!" or the more likely perception of it; "I refuse to take responsibility for these small parts of the class, but the rest is mine."

    Also, healing spells and healing melee on a max defense class? Even though the range is low, that might be a little much. Maybe change the Spirit Link spell to something that does not heal the caster and maybe even remove healing with melee. Life Steal exists for that purpose. And let's not make another "broken healing mage".

    I really like the Fighter/Royal Guard spell, but being able to summon 3 NPCs that will likely die within seconds, not so much. I would say only spawn one, but make it slightly stronger for each upgrade.

    As for the Spectral Shield, I would keep it as particals all the time. Crouch+Punch activates Weapon Powder Specials as it is now, and I would never actually want it as solid if I were to use the spell. Lastly I would only have one healing/regenaration spell available for the class. Two can be quite overpowered.

    Spectral Horse seems pretty cool, but the combination of both high knockback and high damage on the second upgrade needs a little touch in my opinion. I would say either high knockback and low damage, or low knockback and high damage.

    I think it needs reworking all over the board and a bunch of balancing for this to be considered a great class. Not saying it is trash and a waste of time, as it does have some potential. The potential just needs some help.

    XD Here's some advice:
    NERF Spell 4... I think the sharing w/ other players is okay, but don't have the hp added too much.
    I think you should completely rework the guard/fighter spell. It would just be too overpowered, and for 8 mana: 3 guards?!
    But besides all that it's honestly a pretty decent class. It would be interesting to see this ingame.

    True, but we need to know precisely how much health they have in order to figure out comparisons such as, "they are weak" or something.

    Oh ok. See, now I can say that these guards are going to cancel out every single zombie or low health mob, I'm assuming these guards also have 10% of dmg?

    It's crazy because if you're a level 101 with 13069 health, then there are going to be three 1306.9 hp guards that do x/10, x being your damage. THAT IS SO OVERPOWERED.

    The melee attack heal would be OP with Super fast weapons. Just use Cancer and other + attack tier gear and you have a damaging auto mage.
    Spell 1 will just be in your face and you will activate powders if you hit something.
    Spell 2 is just a budget horse.
    Spell 3 gets worse at level 2 since they will die from roughly 1-3 hits.
    Spell 4 is just let's get an invincible party. Imagine an Archer or Assasin damage build under that effect.
    So I say no.

    only 1 guard will be spawned with the spell, not all 3
    we have meteors that do alot more damage

    This I think is a big problem. With the weapon reskins, especially Warrior and Assassin got a lot of different types of weapons, which take up a lot of potential other classes. A warrior can use a hammer (berserker/viking class), a trident (mer-person class? I don't know. This one can stay) or a scythe (reaper class I guess). Only thunder and fire weapons are actually spears and thunders are borderline (what even is it, a double-ended spear?).
    Assassin is even more broad. Each element is different. You could be fighting with a dagger, a broadsword, a longsword, a cutlas, a claw or a gauntlet-combat-glove-thing (what do you even call the earth one?). There's scope for a lot of classes there. Maybe if we added a new class we could re-texture some existing weapons to make it fit?
