One-time Use Weapon Elemental Skills?

Crazy idea of the day: Consumable One-time use Weapon Elemental Skills

The way this works is you would go to either the powder master or a new merchant and purchase a consumable that mimics the skills of weapons with high tier powders. For example, you could buy something called a Crackling Orb and use it against mobs to mimic the Chain Lightning skill. These items could stack, so you could go into a battle with a few uses of the skill. Yes, using powders on weapons is obviously the better investment since you have unlimited use of the skill, but for players who haven't found enough powders or who don't want to bother with building up a charge with melee attacks, if they have the emeralds, they can buy these one-shot items. It's the same logic as the skill potions.
Names for the items:
Invigorating Ember: Fire Skill
Crushing Boulder: Earth Skill
Crackling Orb: Thunder Skill
Curse Scroll: Water Skill
Captivating Whirlwind: Air Skill

Two things that need to be ironed out:
1. How much do these items cost? Too much and it would just be better to buy powders and make a weapon. Too little and then it would become a spam fest. I was thinking maybe around the same price as the skill potions.
2. What's the level requirement? Two options: a single level cap, but the items have random effectiveness (Crackling Orb could hit anywhere from 4 mobs to 10 mobs), or have tiers of levels, with higher levels being more effective and expensive.

It also might be a good idea to give these items a brief cool-down.

Well, that's a random idea. Any interest, or is this just randomly bad?

I said price was something to iron out. Too expensive means its not viable. Too cheap means spam to win. I considered having prices similar to the skill potions, but again, not sure of the exact price.

Tbh if this got implemented i would so ask some earth melee archer to use stinger an a few stacks of the quakes... you couly shred everything with that .-.
