am I the only one that wants to sell powder , but don't finds no one to sell it?
I created this idea because it's really important for wynncraft community.

Ok so near every item buyer there will be another NPC called "Powder buyer"
Then you will get same GUI menu as the item buyer , and you will be able to put only 1 powder at time.

Ok so here I made a reasonable price list for powders, I also included how I got them.
    Tier 1: 16e
    Tier 2: 16e x 4 = 1eb
    Tier 3 : 1eb x 4 = 4eb
    Tier 4 4eb x 4 = 16eb
    Tier 5 16eb x 4 = 1le
    Tier 6 1le x 4 = 4le

Personally, I do get a lot of powders pretty easily from loot runs, and looking at the prices, it does feel like you can get a lot of emeralds just by farming a ton of powders pretty easily. Although the prices are lower than the market price currently, I think the selling prices should be quite more lower than what the powders are really worth in terms of the player market.

Truth is, if a Mythic Cataclysm sold for 3200 emeralds or so to the Item Buyer, I don't think a Tier 6 powder should really break the 1000 emeralds mark, let alone be 4 le (which is 16384 emeralds!) per Tier 6 powder. I just feel like it is too easy to obtain powders and players could exploit it to earn a ton of emeralds fast.

Nevertheless, I do understand what you mean as it is pretty annoying to throw away powders if you don't keep them, but I don't think the prices should be that high, it should be much lower, a T6 Powder shouldn't be more than what a Mythic sells to an item buyer because it is just that much easier to obtain a T6 powder. The powder buyer should only be used as another dump for powders, just to get rid of it and earn a bit of emeralds from it, and judging how easy it is to obtain them, it should not be used as a way to exploit and earn emeralds that fast. You know, kind of like a quick sell thing!

What you're suggesting is less than 1 emerald per t1 powder for a t6.
    It takes 1024 t1s to make a t6.
An le per t6 would be a good price.
    That's like 4e per t1.

The thing is, a lot of people are already complaining about the market in general, and how the market has been inflating for the past few years of Wynncraft. If we were to add a really big new way of adding money into the circulation like the Powder Buyer, emeralds will essentially become more useless than some turtle shells. It is ironic since 20 Turtle shells is actually 20 eb if you consider the Aerie of Recluse boss altar (Not considering the potions or time needed to complete it).

If you consider all the current methods of money entering Wynncraft without quests so far, the item buyer is quite balanced as you need to spend emeralds to identify the emeralds. Grinding emeralds from mobs is just not too efficient of a way to get large amount of LE, and Selchar's Treasure hunting is just for relaxing and stuff. If we were to add a Powder Merchant, since powders are one of the more easier to get renewable resource in Wynncraft, it becomes a dominant way of earning emeralds over all the other current ways for emeralds to get into circulation.

So yes, while you did pointed out I was suggesting less than 1 emerald per T1 powder for a T6, essentially most people don't quite keep their T1 powders at all, as it is much easier to obtain a T6 by starting from T3s and T4s powders.

A way we can do if we were to keep the Powder Buyer to not make T1 powders not worth less than an emerald, is to just make the price increased by two times or three times instead. Think about it. This way, the powders would be worth more when it is a T1, but worth less and less when it is a T6 in terms of per T1 powder.

The powder buyer does need some balancing, but it IS one way to solve some players' problems of having too much useless powders that they don't use in their inventory, especially at lower levels when you don't use much powders.

Thing is, inflation isn't the actual problem in Wynn.
Besides the actual base LE you get from questing, it's a bit harder than you think to generate mass emeralds into the system.

The real problem is item inflation, there are too many of the same existing items out there, and not enough emeralds to support a player market for these items.
Ya there are a few players who got 'really rich' but they did it by selling items to other players, not just grinding. Selling items to other players doesn't generate any more emeralds, it just transfers them.
Most of the total value of the server is tied up in items, and the largest percent of this is mythics.
Doing this may actually help by cutting down on powder inflation.

This would just add yet another way to get more money than you need, worsening the economy further. Relic runs will become OP emerald grinding strategies.

Powders are useful as they are, and you can keep upgrading them to T6, which takes a while in normal gameplay. With the powder exchange they'll never be useless for your build or anything, as weapons and armour often are (hence the Item Buyers). They're a fairly balanced feature that works fine as it is. You have excess powders? Save them, they'll be useful later.
