    It would be fun to see more references to known RPG franchises, like the Elder Scrolls, because it's fun to recognize them. Big franchises reference other big franchsises. Why not Wynncraft, too?

    I know you already have some, but why not more? (And why not Elder Scrolls?)
    Although they shouldn't be too obvious.
    Examples:
    • An NPC named Dervenin, muttering about loosing his Master.
    • A random NPC claiming that orcs are cursed elves.
    • Arrow in the knee
    • M'aiq the Liar (With slightly changed names and his classic dialogue)
    It shouldn't be hard to think of even more.

    It's the little things that make Wynncraft fun.

    It's not named Shrek. It's name Sherk.

    In Lord of the Clock, the NPCs are named:
    Bulbo
    Gundalf
    Frudo

    Frankly we are referencing other RPGs, but we have to be careful not to copy too much.

    Fair enough, but arrow to the knee may be too much. I'm not really the judge for these things, but again, copyrights/trademarks should be checked thoroughly.

    If Sherk is not obvious enough, arrow or spear in the knee shouldn't be either.

    I think all of these are fine, no one is going to sue a small mine craft server for this kind of stuff. However, there is a rule against memes in-game, so idk how feasible the arrow to the knee is. (Yes I know the one an Avos says but I still remember that rule)

    I don't see how this comment supports your previous claim that there would be lawsuits incoming, should they add more easter-eggs from other RPGs.
    It just shows that you can work around any copyright claims, even though I doubt that most of OPs suggestions are even patented.
