Rebalance "the Passage"

In order to fight the Boss u have to hunt down Zombies and collect 12 Zombie eyes.

I tryed this 4 Times so i had to collect 48 eyes in a total annoying area full of blobs and other shitty rangefighting creatures.

Dying to the Boss is ok but getting 1shot with teleporting is not fun. Specially if u have to farm items for it.

 

Simply find someone to help, this quest isn't supposed to be done alone kinda. It is possible to kill the boss alone ofc, but it teaches you that you always should bring a back up with you whenever you go to a boss altar of your level

 

Your issue is clearly equipment. This is the first semi difficult quest, and there are more coming, so I would farm for or buy some gear

Why would you kill the "blobs and other shitty rangefighting creatures" while you can go to thanos and buy zombie eyes? Going to Thanos and buying them is soooooooo much easier, I don't know why people even try killing the "blobs and other shitty rangefighting creatures". They are too hard!

The boss is 1.5x stronger than normal in terms of its overall health and damage. It's literally just a 50% stat boost. The Tribe Zombies do very little due to their lack of speed or spells, and while the Mystics do so enjoy their heal spell, they're incapable of attack, cripplingly weak to fire, and are knocked back far on a hit, letting you easily deal with them. The boss does not have Teleport as you claim; it can use Charge and Multihits, where it can deal 20% damage over 11 hits, for a damage range of 1320-1694, which is manageable at that level. It is tougher than normal, sure, but far from insurmountable at-level.

I agree with OP. I had to take in a level 87 archer with me and we still barely got our alive. The boss is hard.

 

change it back to what it was pre gameplay update (where u had to litterally get 40 eyes and give it to the guy) to solve every problem. tagging all GMs

This is not the first altar boss in the game. There's a lvl 20 one on durum isles, a lvl 30 one in the mesa, a lvl 50 one in olux swamp, and a lvl 60 one in kander forest, all before this one. After this one comes the temple of the legends one, and then the 2 corkus ones and orange wybel.

 

Tbh I solo'd with an archer and crap for armour, though I did just a safe spot and snipe with the firecracker. The time I needed help was when I was farming it for the beads, and that was because I nearly died a few times because I was unprepared and didn't bring pots.
