World Third Alternative To Sprint Bar

A Toggle-able notification that lets you know you're running out of sprint in chat and with a sound, so you aren't draining your mana then falling off parkour.
The notifications would start at 25%
Then continue into 15%, 10%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%, then a completely different sound once you're out.
The sound would get progressively lower pitch as you lose more sprint.

 

Friend, we've been over this. The solution is far more simple.

Go check the thread, I responded to what he said. His only valid point is practically meaningless, since it's really not large enough to vastly affect the gameplay. We spend most of our time with sprint available anyway, converting that to full time wouldn't suddenly make it overpowered.

 

I saw your response, Meric's point still stands, as a high level player it doesn't matter much but to lowbies sprint is a bit more useful, it'll unbalance a couple things.
And ya it's small but any at all is bad.

For that matter, Meric's point and the discussion resulting is far more constructive than posting an image in a joking manner like you have. Forums are for discussion, not useless gags, or posts that give very little insight into what you meant with them. While your post is not necessarily useless, since it expresses your opinion on the matter, it doesn't provide useful discussion or continue the topic. If you post something, that's what your post should do. Instead of a gag, explain why you think something should be how you think it should be. Try to continue discussion instead of making a joke or trying to end it. If you can't do this, just don't reply to a thread. This advice applies to everyone, not just Ganon- I don't want him to feel like I'm singling him out or being hard on him, this is more a message to everyone.
Behavior like this is something I've been seeing a lot recently, and more worryingly, I've seen it becoming increasingly acceptable in the eyes of the community. I'd like to see an end to it. This doesn't just apply to Ganon, but to anyone who tends to act like this. Remember that this is a forum, a discussion site. Y'all should try to discuss constructively.

As for the topic of the thread, I would like an indication that I'm low on sprint, as I do often find myself draining it without noticing. I feel it might be better that it makes a continuous sound once you run out, like how in some games low HP makes a continuous sound. Continuous sounds get people's attention quickly, so it would make it much more noticeable.

Also I spent like half an hour typing this and a few more replies showed up, my apoligies if it feels a bit late.

I can see how continuous sounds would get annoying. Sounds at the frequency you suggested would mean it starts with a slow sound and gets rapid when you approach zero, which would make sense and get the player's attention. I feel like it might seem odd that upon hitting zero the sound stops, and might give the false impression that the sprint refilled, since it isn't yelling at you anymore.

 

Tbh after their first time realizing that Wynn is not such a magical place, they'll know what the stopping means.

 

Why don't we just keep the current sprintbar? It's fine as it is right now.

I did and I said the current system is fine
