In the same way there's a dungeon key exchanger in detlas there should be a powder exchanger merchant to swap unstackable powders with correct-NBT ones.

wouldn't it better to just solve the glitch creating those powders in the first place?

So instead of suggesting a redundant feature, should we not just wait for the bug to be fixed? It's not like they just leave bugs as they are.

Yeah it actually does. You throw two (or more) powders of the same tier and same element together on the exact same block. You wait like ten seconds. Then, when you pick them up, they should stack.

This doesn't work on powders that don't already stack. Have you actually tried it, or are you perpetrating information you heard elsewhere?

It worked for me. I got a T4 thunder powder through upgrading powders and a T4 thunder powder from the relic. These would not stack until I tried the above method. There's no reason to be unnecessarily antagonizing.

You know what, this is stupid.

I gave you a specific example of something that happened once to me: dungeon powders and upgraded powders.

You tried stacking two powders. Where are these from? Definitely not from upgrading, that's for sure.

The combination happened once to me and, because I have not had stacking issues, I haven't been able to replicate this. Just because a loose interpretation of my example didn't work for you doesn't mean I'm incorrect.

But you said powders are stackable when you drop them and pick them up.

This thread talks about the unstackable powders and a merchant to fix the bug, or what captainganon said.

Oh I see what you're saying.

I guess I assumed the dropping-stacking worked for every situation. I realized I had made a mistake (because it didn't work for him) and tried to fix the situation.

A good solution would be to just remove the bug that's causing this.

Obviously the best thing to do would be to write a script that scans a player's inv. for incompatible powders and standardises them. Personally I don't feel like this is a lot of work.

However, until that happens, why not have a way for players to solve the problem themselves?
