Give Non-paying Players 10 Class Slots

I swear Salted said something about wanting to implement a better bank system.

Oh also I do not agree with this. Bank space is meant to be used to carefully store items, not hoard every T1 powder you've ever gotten. I've never had a problem, and I don't use my other characters as bank classes. Also the leaderboard isn't part of the game and changes nothing about your actual gameplay experience.

Others, such as Ganon, pointed out the flaws that I see in your logic. While I understand your opinion, I respectfully disagree with you.

 

I don't hoard, I keep every powder t3+ and sell every so often to orange. I also keep alot of useful gear that I may at some point need for builds.

 

Some flaws here:
Each class has their own data


As in if I fast travel by switching classes, I can't get to grinding zones, as i am on a different class....

Fast travel to trade hubs just use a scroll

Others have stated specifics about every one of my objections more succinctly than I can, so I won't dwell on that. I will just summarize my takeaway from this thread:

The original suggestion is to give non-paying players ten class slots because it violates the EULA. We've already established that extra class slots doesn't violate the EULA (go read captainganon's post on it if you haven't). So...I don't think this will be changed.

I said that I haven't had a problem with bank storage and I don't even have bank classes. Your circumstances are different—you may keep different items than I do—so our opinions differ on this. That is okay. That is the great thing about forums, that we can share our opinions and thoughts, even when they differ.

In short, you can have your own opinion on this. Just remember that class slots have been a rank perk for years with no retaliation from Mojang. I doubt that will change and I see no reason for it too.

Also I'm sorry I called you a hoarder. No hard feelings were meant—I have friends who keep every item they get and they complain about bank space. You aren't doing the same.

 

Pssst i got roughly 20stacks worth in items and le and i got all lf those as a non donor with barely any trading involved ^^ so dont tell me that you need bankspace... its a nice add on that allows mlre comfort if you dont want to sell your items but hoard them but mere comfort isnt what i would call a real advantage

 

Storage-
This is valid, but tbh extra storage only encourages ppl to keep trash, and not have enough space
Fast travel-
This is plainly ridiculous.
And meta
To get to one place, you can switch classes, but this doesnt help with quests and such. Vips use scrolls too, yknow

Those dont matter, and if you're going to put enough effort to get high in the leaderboard, you should donate to wynn, seeing as you're playing this game for free

Like the non payers have to work for 5 extra classes while donors just get them for free (ish)

 

Technically the way you're phrasing it it wouldn't be against EULA, but the actual action still is.
You can't monetize perks that are already obtainable ingame.

Technically, they don't matter, since their exp system is broken, but still, leaderboards are part of winning, and therefore viable under observation of EULA.
What you're saying here is people should have to pay to win on the exp and level leaderboards, but they shouldn't because EULA.
