Make fragments tradable for a full shard

9 fragments (3 per completion): 1 boss shard

Some other options are trading powders and other items like skill potions for these fragments, but they'd have to be really expensive in corrupted sand swept for it to be even remotely balanced.

 

Is there any use of them except for buying teleportation scrolls? I always end throwing them out.

 

I think that different fragments would have different costs. Add a bit more detail, and some more features because this is just stale

 

No, there isn't. Scrolls are the only use as of now.

Such as? They're pretty darned useless now (you can only stock up on so many scrolls before it's redundant). The point of this thread was to suggest one specific use for fragments, not an entire list of possible uses.

 

Some dungeons contain misc. items you can buy with the fragments. You can buy T4 powders with them in Undergrowth Ruins, you can buy level 75 skill pots with them in Corrupted Lost Sanctuary, etc. etc.

But for any dungeons that don't contain misc. items, I also just end up throwing the fragments out.

As for the suggestion, I think it should be 9 instead of 5, 5 feels too low, and since every dungeon gives 3 shards, it would make it an even requirement of 3 times to complete a dungeon for an extra shard.

It would act as an incentive for players to complete a dungeon multiple times to get an extra reward, which I'm sure people who want the Fallen Factory items will heavily appreciate.

 

If that was the point of the thread, then this is pointless. A suggestion takes effort.

this would be useful for everything but for CSST
i rushed it soo much that i got like 3 stacks of fragments and 64 corrupt hashr bones

Exactly why I made this thread.

Yeah, those are pretty cool but with the speed running of CSST, that would break the powder economy even more so there might have to be other alternatives, or the price can just be quite a lot higher.

I'll change it to 9 fragments for a shard. Thanks for the input, makes sense.

LMFAO yeah. I have like half a stack of those and a bazillion forgery scrolls..
