How About Adding In Professions?

I'm talking about the normal stuff like: mining, lock picking, smelter and ect. I know this might not happen but I feel that throwing this out there it might spark something new. For an example, if you picked mining, you would start off with stone, coal, ect. In order to find the ore you it would randomly spawn depending on what your level is and the area you're at. If you go with lock picking you would make it or it would be an skill that every time you unlock a chest that was locked you would earn a level to lock picking.

I could go on and on about this idea. But like I said this might not happen, but I'm really hoping it can come true. I really like this server and everything that it comes with. I hope this server never ends.

(p.s. if my grammar was bad I'm sorry for that ;n; I'm very tired at the moment lol)

 

How about adding some detail?

Mmm, I would like to see professions but it they are implemented I feel like they would end up over complicated or straight up pointless.

You mainly talk about mining and lockpicking. Let's talk about that.

First of all, how would mining work? Would you teleport to another area? Would we get certain mining areas. What could we do with ores? Can we upgrade gear or craft it? Will it not be the most overpowered profession? Could you have multiple? What would be useful to lockpicking? How do we lock chests? Guilds will also need probably a big revamp with this. Alchemy would be cool, maybe you can put random junk items in a cauldron and make potions with random effects, but if you put the same amount/type of items in it you get the same potion, then people can post recipes and stuff for useful potions.

 

or do something like mineplex clans has which there is an area in which ores spawn you can mine them they turn into cobblestone and re appear in a few minutes
