Community Events Suggestion!

Ok, I like Wynncraft's community events but I just have some ideas and here I made a thread with some Community Events suggestion, I wanted an event that wasn't too small because the community is big and I wanted events that could be played by people who have different timezones, not every suggestion will follow these but they are pretty cool suggestions:

Spoiler: Imagination

Explanation:


This event has two parts, one one the forums, another one in-game, this event is called imagination because you, the forums members have to create events and the three best events will go in-game, one per week, different timezones, to make it more accessible to many people around the world!


Part 1:


Here, a thread will be created and members have to create events, new events, never done before, events never seen on Wynncraft but to make those events harder the thread creator will say 3 random things that have to be in the event that you'll create, example:


1- Audio hints

2- Rotten Flesh

3- Boats


The thread creator, event managers will choose 10 events, they will open a poll and the event creators will write messages saying why their events should be chosen.


The community will vote and the three best events will go in-game and this will be the second part. The three chosen people will win a reward.


Part 2:


Ok, we are now going to the second part, people will now play the event, I don’t know how the events will work but the events need winners so the first, second and third of each event will win something. So, I read the Moderator Feedback thread and I saw many people talking about the timezones thing, so I thought that each event should happen in different timezones to make more people able to play (Obviously the events won’t happen on the same day, like one per week or something…)

Spoiler: Puzzle Swap

-1 week > Preparation, to play puzzle swap, you need at least one other person, if you have +3 people, it’ll be perfect too, if you have one other person, one day before the event, we’ll notify you saying the other two people who will have to swap with you during the game.


-10 minutes > Contributors will start a conversation with you and you +3 people group, there you’ll have every information about the event and it’s rules


0 minutes > The groups will receive their first hint, they will have to know if they are group one or two, because the other group will be in the same conversation.


Now we don’t have the time, every group one will start with one word, they have to go to the area (can be a puzzle, discovery, boss altar…) and send a PM to their contributor, the contributor will say “Congratulations #1 - 2017”, then they’ll send a screenshot to you, the screenshot needs to show, both of them and their contributor’s message, or it won’t be valid and they will be auto disqualified.


The only difference between group’s one and two hints to find puzzle is that group’s two hints are audio hints.


After they complete the first puzzle, they’ll have another one following the same rules, group one, words, group two, audio, when one of them complete it, they’ll be notified to go somewhere, the two groups will have to meet each other on the location and take a screenshot, BOTH GROUPS HAVE TO TAKE THE SCREENSHOT! This will make them swap, group one will now receive audios and group two will have words, they will have to complete the last puzzle required, then their contributor will tell them to go to the final location, there they’ll find the contributor and complete the Puzzle Swap!

Spoiler: Hybrid Race

My idea is to leave the default, every event here is unique! So, here I have Hybrid Race, this race won’t be a horse race, a normal race or a boat race, it’ll be every race!


Example, we’ll start in Ragni, the first is a dungeon race, the community manager throws a dungeon bomb and people leave ragni and go to the Decrepit Sewers dungeon, after completing it they will get a brown horse and start a horse race to Nemract, there a boat race to Durum Isles will start, there they’ll receive the final boat race location, Maro Peaks, there they’ll start a climbing race, the first ones to climb will receive the next race, they’ll swim to the Dead Island, there the will be the Ghost Ship!


(The race was recorded by the managers, after the end of the race, the managers will check if nobody cheated, the ones who cheated will be disqualified)

Spoiler: What's The Quest?

This event will split the community that wants to participate in 4 groups, after people apply, they’ll be added in a Discord Channel (You must have Discord to participate), before the event, everybody will be able to talk, but when the event starts, the channel will be muted, the Event Manager will tell people the rules and probably there’ll be voice channels for each group.


The manager will give the first quest hint and will unmute the chat channel, the groups will have to say which quest they think that’s right, players can’t give +1 quest per round and note that if in the message you write +1 quests it won’t be valid too! You can put +1 quest but THE FIRST ONE will be valid, edited messages won’t be valid too!


The game will have 15 quests, if two or more teams at the end have the same quantity of points, the speedy round will start, 5 really hard quest hints and the first team to hit them all will win, if nobody win the first speedy round, there’ll be +4 prepared, if no teams win the 5 rounds, it’ll mean that who create the hints is a horrible hint creator? Yes, but it’ll also mean that there was a tie and no teams will win (NOTE THAT HAVING A TIE IS A ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE), but the winner team to don’t make Wynncraft full of people with item/XP bombs will win those [Community Event Winner] weapons!

Spoiler: Wynncraft Says

Wynncraft Says will be a really fun game, no teams, everybody against Wynncraft! One week before the event people will register, they need to have Discord for this event too, after the registration, they’ll receive a message with every important info about the event and their code. When the event’s day come, people can be in any server, it doesn’t matter, but they have to be in Wynncraft’s discord chat and be able to see the even’t channel, so the event will start, the event’s admin will shout with the first thing that Wynncraft’s says, example:

Wynncraft Says: Climb a mountain until you reach the top of the map! You have 5 minutes!


People who send the picture with F3, showing that there are barriers where they are will go to the next round, others will be eliminated (I know that it looks like it would take months to eliminate everybody who don’t complete what Wynncraft says but I have strategies, so if you like the event you can start a conversation with me and I can explain), what Wynncraft says will just get harder and harder until everyone gets eliminated or only 2-10 people stay alive, if only one stay alive, this person will be the winner and will win only 1st place rewards, no 2nd and 3rd places, if we have 2-10 people, it’ll be a faster competition, the three faster people to complete/send the proof of “Completion?” will win!

Duel: who has the best poison build/rainbow Mage build!

 

I wanted to make it fair saying that you couldn't play with a class level +50 so players can't have OP builds but there are many players who have 10 level 100 classes and I think that this will make battles harder... Anyway, you have to be level 90+ to participate so... and it is just a suggestion!

 

No idable items. Powders are ok tho

 

I think all of them are cool, but i think people could google on What's the quest...

 

I just don't want to make everything too complicated, it's just a little game...

What's The Quest will give you hints which refer to a quest, a Wynncraft quest, you can google the hints but you won't be able to find any Wynncraft Quests there, you can use the wiki, but the community is huge so I don't think that you'll have time!
