Remove The Moderator Applications [ Mod Bait]

what about fly and speed? the map is huge and remember lazy peeps may do it

 

Well in the application you need to say anything you contributed to the community, you probably need some stuff in there to become a mod so it's not like anyone can just become a mod. Also wynncraft is a much smaller server so it's easier to watch mods

 

Keep in mind people can apply for mods but the old system is still active. They are still handpicked to see if they are actually a good member to become a mod. So applying doesn't really mean much. You could apply once and become a mod a year afterwards.

 

I believe that the idea behind the mod applications was to give people who didn't get noticed yet a chance.
The people who check these applications are most like the same ones who hand-pick them aswell.
And I highly doubt they're gonna get new moderators in as rapid of a rate as Hypixel, Or if any of the people who applied will get accepted at all.
The moderator standards are quite high if you haven't noticed.
Also cheating isn't as big of a deal on Wynn since the players can't really harm anyone but themselves by using them, Just wanted to throw that out there.
Plus unlike Hypixel where they let a bot do all the work here we have a simple /report and a ton of other ways to contact moderators real-time.

I don't think this application system is an issue at all, It could simply give them more information on the people who want to become moderators.

And next thing you know you're in a level 80 area getting one shot by everything.
3/4 of the classes have mobility abilities nearly as effective as "Fly hacks", Using them wouldn't be lazy, It'll just be stupid.

and speed would still be useful for go from ragni to almuj in 5 seconds

 

Just because some servers are power corrupt doesn't mean that the Admins of Wynncraft will come to a terrible decision in who they choose as Moderator.

 

They're strict on accepting people. The system is new and everyone should give it a chance.

 

i play on hypixel and the reason mods can be corrupt is because the community is so large where there are 300 or so mods (probably more i have not checked) but on wynn theres about 12 mods and it is much easier to make sure they are not abusing there power

Ive given multiple example all in different circumstances, to say that its a general thing for minecraft servers with this system

 

Lets take into account that High Pickle is the largest server right now, and the 12 year olds and hackers usually run over there.
Wynncraft has less of a problem, but yes there is a low chance of you applying to get an amazing staff member.....
