if u add things up that way should bomb arrow be 200%*5 = 1000% cuz it bounces 5 times
and arrowstorm be 10%*60 = 600% ?

 

About this, Health regen% actually only effects the base health regen, not any raw health regen (base Health regen heals you more the lower your health is).

I believe the reason for this is because having both raw and % health regen combine would produce ridiculous amounts of health regen, I could be wrong.

Even then, health regen% needs a bit of a buff because even if you have 50%+ health regen or something, raw health regen is still superior in most situations. (unless you're on low HP, hiding from mobs I guess....)

 

Tier doesn't affect the stats as much as you think, it mostly only alters the rarity. Uniques are perfectly viable.

 

I've basically gotten through the game as an archer like this.
Escape-->bomb arrow-->bomb arrow-->bomb arrow-->stomp-->repeat

 

my arrowstorm would do 25k neutral if it did,and it doesnt.

I'm one of the people who think that archer is an amazing class, and I hope that I may be able to help you.

I'm a level 100 who is able to solo every major mob and boss in the game (including Qira, and the whole of Legendary Island, as well as the wybel)

Before you say that it's because my items are OP, they're not. Really. I'd envy you for your ignis, actually! I have 2 LE to my name, and 0 mythics found, 0 mythics in bank, 0 mythics in use. My build consists of my leggings and hive bow being powdered. Nothing else.

The key to archer is strategy. It's the most versatile and damaging class in the game, and is DEVASTATING if played correctly. Against qira, use a cluster. While most people (including me,) whine at it's lousy damage output, it does its job well. Skill point potions are also excellent. I'd recommend defence as a must, with intelligence and agility coming close behind in terms of usefulness.

Click combos: It really depends on the battle you're in. For a boss that melees (like cybel) , try staying away with an arrow shield up while bombing the target to smithereens. For ranged enemies, I personally like to get close to arrow storm. Strafe around the target in a circle while arrow storming, so that they don't hit you.

As for some tricks I gained with experience: Cluster is your friend. Not for the damage though. If a large group of mobs approaches use cluster to kill them off. A cluster with high lifesteal manasteal and explosive will do best, as when mobs die, they may explode, damaging other mobs and yielding you with a full mana bar and thousands of HP. I was able to regenerate 10k in a bomb after shooting rowdy wybels in the OW boss room.

Powder special. Shoot your bomb arrow so that it hits your target directly, not relying on AoE. This also counts as a normal attack, charging your AoE. As a bonus, if your bomb bounces and hits anything else it also counts.

Escape to blind enemies. Very useful.

Have a good walk speed gales force. Just nice in general to have that speed.
If you powder it too, it does good damage as well.

I told you it was an assumption. I do like 6.5k damage on a shot, which means I have 13k dps, which means 3 * 13k = 39k arrowbombs
I never logged in and checked though

 

Yea... that's not even close to how you do spell damage though

 

I don't have many stats and I am an assassin but I must say that if I basically state about 3 classes (mage, assassin and archer)
Archer you would have to know a lot of strategy and planning beforehand so it you didn't have that then you would have some problems (PLAN)
Assassin is heavily based on close combat so I do believe that (from personal experience) the best thing to do is to grind for good attack and defence to get good "dissapear" and 'smoke bomb' stuff as well. (GRIND)
I honestly believe that mage is rather overpowered. For ANY class, mage would seem better to be honest. (I'm looking at you, @Penpen .) They do have to get lots of mana potions but they can just easily just jump forward to run away, summon ice snakes and meteors to hit stuff, and REALLY need to be buffed. Almost no actually strategy except for "Oh hey spam click stuff! Fun!" (NERF)

Anyways I think you should consider trying multiple strategy and buffing up your defence perhaps? (If you can get a team lmao)
If not then just grind continuously to get super op items and all. Also your skill point thing. Watch out for that.

 

I don't really have the time to read all of the text so excuse me if I get this wrong.
But Archer isn't meant to be for soloing bosses, It's supposed to be for damage support and mobility.
Also Mage is surprisingly balanced in PvE, PvP is where the problem is.

From conversations with selvut, he went ham with tier and level balancing, so from what I gathered, it affects it more than I think it does.

 

Each bomb can only affect a person once, and the chances of hitting EVERY arrow on arrow storm are slim to none

 

Bomb Arrow can't hit a target more than once per shot. I've seen a bomb arrow bounce thrice near the same mob, and only one hit actually registered.

In most other rpgs health regen builds are viable option, except here. I absolutely agree that raw health regen isn't affected by a % regen to make it balanced, but that shouldn't be the case. Health regen % should buff, or lower, the raw one, but they should also reduce the amount of health regen % found on gear. No more 70-90%, reduce it to a fixed amount of 5% and you are good. Those kind of gear are usually penalized with lower dmg.

So far, health regen % is useless in this game. If I'm at 2k/12k health, I'm regenerating 10 HP each second, that's ignorable and will, in no way, help me, as I could be hiding for half an hour somewhere and still won't regen anyone health to avoid 1 hit death.
I'm fine with using potions, no problem, but health regen % isn't really useful as it stands.

Against qira, use a cluster

I did, managed to beat her. Funny enough no one ever suggested cluster, but currently, it's my favorite weapon, and I have powedered gale and ignis.
It's really good, I'm currently in love with neutral dmg.

About everything else, thank you for tips, I'll try to apply them and do my best.

I don't believe any class in MMOrpg is meant to solo any boss, but that's how things turned out.
About mage, as a class, I'd agree it's balanced, except the healing spell whcih I already mentioned several times.
Don't know anything about PvP so can't comment on that.
