Toggle One's Own Donor Login Announcement

I think donors should be able to toggle on/off the announcement in chat whenever we log in.

If we toggle it off, others won't see the login announcement every time we switch class. If it's on, then it'll send as usual.

Whenever I'm switching classes a lot to organize or put things in my storage classes, I don't want to keep spamming the chat with the useless and flashy announcement that I have logged in.

It's also just really obnoxious. :)

But other donors probably like it and would want to keep it, so I think there should be a toggle option for it.

 

When I read it I thought that I was turning it off so I can't see other VIP's announcements. Maybe make it more clear?

Nah, you paid for VIP and that is one of the guaranteed features.

 

Well, why not have the toggle be included? At least be given the option.

 

I meant that when you pay for Vip, you are garunteed to have other players see your message when you login. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it being toggleable for Vips, but for other players it shouldn't be because it is a promise the devs have made that they will get the message.

I think give all ranks access to toggling off server join messages and have it so that everyone can toggle the join announcement that everyone in the area sees.

Well, you buy VIP for all the perks. If you REMOVED a perk, any perk, don't you think they'd receive a little... backlash?

It's not about if it actually DOES anything, it's a perk that is part of the rank.

It's not my decision. I do agree it is the most useless, but it's what makes VIP VIP
