This is proof that players worry more about others than they do themselves. The fact that they want not only their own stats to reset but also everyone else's clearly demonstrates the competitive nature of Wynncraft's gameplay. It doesn't matter if you have money, what matters is you having more money than everyone else. What matters is you being stronger than everyone else. What matters is you being more recognized than everyone else. For people to suggest a complete reset of 'social classes' of Wynncraft will inevitably come to no conclusion - those above average oppose, those below average support.

I don't think even people with only like 30 LE total will support a reset.

Rich people won't be the only ones who will leave, there are many people, who, despite not being rich, in both literal and "social" aspects as you've said, have put quite a bit of time and effort into this game, and they wouldn't be very happy to see all that effort be wiped from existence, look at @XavierEXE as an example.

I don't see how a poorly made suggestion is proving anything at all, if anything, it proves that while the economy is flawed, resetting everything won't fix much, both rich and poor players like me don't want to see their nearly 2-4 years of progress wiped out, the only players a reset will truly benefit are "below average" players who have been playing Wynn for only 6 months or under, it's not worth it.

In fact, for those who don't know, there's already been a thread discussing the concept of a complete reset a couple months back, if anyone here could post a link to that thread, that would be great.

I think you overestimate the 'average' Wynn player.

Those who feel like they have dedicated enough time and effort into Wynn - to the point of regret should it come to an end - can be considered to be above average. It all depends on the medium of which you thrive in - is it the forums? Or nether pvp? Or is it in-game wealth? The leniency towards wealth in the eyes of 'rich' players will be distorted in their favor. If one player has 10 stacks of LE, they would feel as if 6 stacks is the 'average'. Such is the greed of humans. They never settle on what they already have, but what they do not yet have.

As such, those who support the decision of resetting Wynncraft falls under one of two groups:
    1. Those who are not involved in the community, thus experiencing no pressure as standards
    2. Those who feel they are below average, that they are missing out relative to others

    No.

Money isn't the only measure of your position in a community. Several other factors, for example, equipment or dedication, all contribute to your position. A common misconception is that your assets determine your position, when reality it's your position that makes you think you are where you are. Supporters of this suggestion who consider themselves 'above average' are merely evaluating the tip of the iceberg of their status. Sure, they may have a lot of money, but what they also have is the regret to not have achieved what they wished. It's a hard thing to accept, but the human psyche only knows so much. Illusions cast by oneself with the intention of covering your flaws, such mindsets run prevalent within any community. For example, while I consider myself above average, I find flaw in the fact that I was not one of the first players to achieve level 101. This regret can fuel into my ideal of resetting the server, however the positive factors clearly reign victorious. Some other common examples is the regret of not achieving a goal you thought you could achieve, for example, one wish to monopolize the market, but failed to do so. This sense of regret and/or nonacceptance can factor into the support in the sense of 'starting over'. For everyone to become equal so you have a second chance at thriving for what you failed to do. Yes, it's harsh. People generally don't accept what others try to say about themselves. I cannot boast and say everything is true, this is all subjective to my current knowledge of mob psychology. Don't take my word for it, as what we think we know about psychology is nothing more than a subset of its own cause.

Well there you go. That's what I think.

I started over when the gavel update came out except for my mage that I've had since I joined wynncraft, and if I lost all the effort I've put in since then, I'd probably quit the server right then. I've had setbacks but I've pushed through and the only regrets I have are sometimes not utilizing double xp weekends. Maybe it's the fact that I'm happy with everything I've managed to accomplish and don't feel like I could have done better, that's why I don't want a reset?

Yeah I actively try to participate in community things but I have shit gear, 1 LE, 2 level 30 characters (which for me is like soo hard) and I cannot fathom how annoying it would be for players even better than me and who have been around longer than 6 months (as I've only been around 6 months) to even like this, when I'd hate losing what little it seems I have.
    I'm gonna go -1

This would be pretty much "Stealing" time from players.
And Wynncraft isn't really known for respecting the player's time already...
If they ever did something like this, I doubt a lot of people are actually going to keep playing.
Which is why they would never do this of course.

I would personally quit if there was a reset, why? I have put well more then 1000 hours into the game and guild wars(and don't say the website is right because, the time counter is off). I would not go and re go through out all the work i put into my guild and lose all the le i put into it, i don't have a lot of time either these days, i have almost a full time job, i'm a full time student, i have a car loan, license, and i have to pay insurance. What about the other people that have a busy life to, its just a bad for business.
