General My Thoughts On Corkus

    So I have very mixed feelings on this update. I love it but at the same time I feel it's not what we needed. I'll explain more below:

    Pros:

    Quests: The 5 quests that were added were great. Especially the Envoy quests. I found the Envoy I to be the perfect way to begin your corkus experience and I recommend avoiding Corkus until you are able to do that quest.

    Fallen Factory. This is by far the best dungeon in the game and one of the best gameplay experiences I've had, or at least the first time I did it.

    The music. The music is great. It's some of the best music to be added to Wynncraft in my opinion.

    Corkus Island: The island has some of my favorite environments in the game. And I have no issue with its size, I think it's perfect and exactly what I expected. A lot of other people complain how it's small, but for an island, it's actually huge.

    Cons:

    Quests: I know I put these as pros, however I have an issue with them too. Not for the quests themselves, but for other reasons I'll explain. 1. The amount. I understand the "I'd rather have a few really good quests than a bunch of shitty ones" but still. Just a couple more would be great. Look at the gameplay update for example, an update post-Gavel, meaning that at the point of that updates release quest expeditions for their quality were still high. And we got 7 or 8. You'd think with an entire new island they'd be able to add a couple more? Ok fine, I'm just upset there's no Avos quest. Or Avos centered I should say. Also I don't feel these quests were added for the levels that needed quests the most (90-95).

    Corkus in general: what I mean by Corkus in general is that did we really need a new island to add content? Keep in mind we still need Gavel quests in Rodoroc/Molten Heights, maybe a couple more in the Sky Islands and we still have no Gavel dungeons. So was Corkus actually as neccesary as it seems?

    Final verdict: 7/10. Overall, great content, but with a few flaws. That's all I have to say.

    I really liked Corkus, but the fallen factory takes too long. I agree with you on the cons, but I don't think that they were just releasing Corkus for more content, but also maybe to add some lore.

    I've run it 11 (3 times got glitched in the end) and yes it does take to long. 15-20 minutes usually

    I agree that it's a bit strange that they decided to release entirely new builds (Corkus) instead of adding to their old ones (Molten Heights)

    The update felt really rushed as there were a ton of bugs in the new quests.
    For example, in the Envoy II, the catapult seems to never work.
    Also, they ruined out of my mind.
    It went from an interesting body swap story to a buggy quest about an insane person.

    Well no shit, since when has a non-buggy update been released, especially with quests?
