I was wondering if someone told you to KYS in chat was bannable because this happened to me today.

Privately contact them in a conversation and show your evidence or report them.

This is not bannable. At least, not at this level. This kind of behaviour, especially when it's probably not 100% serious, is only bannable when it's abused.

 

It is extremely rude and inconsiderate for a player to say something like that over a game, or anything else at that.

But you must remember that this is the internet; and people are stupid, So this will always happen.

There is also a /report command, which let's you report players. A mod will review the reports (?) And they will decide whether to report or not.

So yes, as a conclusion:
It is to some extent bannable.

 

No, this is not bannable, however its not nice to tell someone to commit suicide as that's a serious problem in society.
This would probably be at most a warning; if he were to do it repeatedly he could be muted for 1-24 hours and if he tracks you down and does it again, it could probably go into the tempban section from there. I don't think it would be a permanent ban; at most a permanent mute.
