Website & Forums Improving The "item Help" Search Bar

I think one way to improve the item help is to allow players to search for items with specific attributes. (XP bonus, Walk Speed, Stealing, ect.)

This feature may prove to be useful because some players(like myself) would rather look at an item based on their stats rather than their name. This would help players search for items that they currently want/need for their build, and would also help them determine if the items with the stats they want are worth grinding/hunting for. For example, if a lvl 50 archer would like to level up fast via grinding and would need a bow that has good XP bonus, then the player could just type "XP bonus" or "XP" in the search bar and all the items with XP bonus will appear. This would help the player since every item that has appeared will have the XP bonus attribute and all the player has to do now is decide which one they would like to use.

This feature should be possible since players are already allowed to search for an item by typing in it's name. If this is possible, it should also be possible to search for an item by typing in one if it's attributes.

I am not sure if this has been suggested before. Logically speaking, if this has been suggested before, then the reason this feature has not been added is simply because it was ignored. However, there is also a possibility that this has not been suggested before. I am not sure if something like this would be easy or difficult to implement, but personally, i think it is worth the effort.

In summary, allowing players to search for specific stats would be very useful for many.

on wynnapps you can't tell which is raw health regen or percentage of health regen

 

False. The Health Regen on the first row is %, the one on the fourth is raw.

 

Yes, but the only way to tell if it's raw is if you try it first.

 

Not if you go into it with prior knowledge. At most you'll have to figure that out once, after which you'll know it already. It only takes 30 seconds of searching and/or testing to figure it out. Not really a big deal, though it would be nice to have a (%) and (Raw) next to them.

 

They need to make Wynnapps official so they can start advertising it, so these threads stop appearing.
