I think everyone can agree that the bank is not a place for all the quest items
and by this point people are just making characters for storage rather than gameplay..
SO, an idea came to my mind where the corkians have a giant safe that they can store items for you inside,
Each item you put in will cost you 32E and it will take 16E to get the item out(for later quests)
Something to note is that these safe are character based rather than player based meaning it will have space for ALL quest items and untradeables that each character can produce...

Instead of locking a whole character slot for items and instead of throwing untradeable items, just pay some emeralds to keep the items somewhere..

I also had the idea where each month you need to put an emerald per item stored so it wont last forever..
But this can be talked into something else I guess..

It's a nice concept, but the issue is that it can only be used at lvl 80...

Really the corkians are the ones that fit this idea when I thought of it.. and until 80 you will just have some items..

There could be vaults in Wynn and Gavel, since Corkus is trying to improve relations with them.

    How does the relationship matter?
Also the point is that you can access it from one place only.. not like the bank which you can access from anywhere..

Because this vault is pretty much useless after you can get to Corkus. You need the quest item storage before ToL and Wynn D.

Why would it be useless? It will keep quest items and such, remember that you cant throw away quest items and some untradables you want to keep...
This is supposed to be an end game thing to clear your storage characters...

You're only supposed to be at Corkus by lvl 80, meaning that the other 79 levels has you holding your items. It's not very convenient. What @Poiu429 said was that they think that it would be better in Wynn or Gavel, to improve conveniency and shape the lore.

That's what I'm saying, you get rid of those items after you finished the quests so they wont fill up storage characters..

I say that you still need this at a lower level. At level 78 (which I know is close) I already have a class full of items.
If this is solely in Corkus, you ( if you're like me) will have to put a class there so you can ferry stuff from the vault to the bank. That class will have to be over level 83.

There's not much point then. Seriously, the last 20 levels has much less quest items than the other 80. It's pretty pointless at such a high level. I reccomend it be moved to Wynn.

I am not trying to make something that you will put and take items like there is no tommorow like the bank.. I'm trying to get rid of the storage characters that pile up after you finish a character...
Again, not supposed to be used by putting tons of items to get them out eventually.. its storing items that you cant throw/ dont know if you'll need them..

Then seriously, it's kinda dumb anyway. Most quest items get used before lvl 80, and before that, you would still have bank classes. You can only really use it, when you get a bank class to lvl 80.

Imma just leave the idea here... you like it or not I dont care anymore if you are short minded..
In the end when all characters are 100 you will not have any space i guess...

First things first, the wiki specifically claims this:
[In the lore, the Corkus island has no known location to any race. It is an island populated by Fruma's separatists who are speculated to be fighting the Monarchy of Fruma. The people of the island are said to be industrial buffs and have created a Steampunk Civilization. While Corkians consider themselves a Province, they have yet to be recognized by the Provinces of Wynn, Gavel, and Fruma.]
As it says at the end, they have yet to be noticed by the official provinces. Thus, this could easily lead to them trying to improve their relationships with these provinces to become one themselves. With that aside...

I feel like the idea has potential. It somewhat makes sense, but not at the level it is intended to be for. In the late-game (80+), the only quest items you get are usually for quests that take the item during said quest. This would probably be more effective in a Gavel region intended for level 40-50 (possibly Bucie?), as most quest items are stocked up in this area (ToL, WynnEx, quests like these). Thus, this could be an attempt to be noticed by a province, in this case Gavel. With Wynn, I can also somewhat see the safe being here, with the same intent as Gavel. Once again, you get tons of quest items from the 12-39 range. Obviously, Corkus would have one of it's own. It's called the Corkian Safe for a reason, so... maybe it could be functioning not EXACTLY like a bank, but somewhat like one.

Essentially, this could be like a bank for quest items, but maybe you would need to complete a quest to gain access to it? Now, one thing you could use against my ludicrous claims is that it's called the CORKIAN safe, not the Gavel safe or Wynn safe. However, banks aren't specific to one region as well, are they? The safe could be named after the Corkians, but not their region, as they were the ones who supposedly invented it. They also use electromagic as their way of casting spells and such. Thus, possibly infusing the safe with said magic could make it act like a bank. Easier access to something would lead to an easier experience and more of a use.

TL;DR: The idea has potential, but better access and a bit more information on it's location in Corkus would make probably me be more supportive of it. Thanks for not reading my wall of text if you chose to read just the tl;dr xD
