    1) Change item requirements: instead of un-equipping the item, just add [Blocked] to item name and don't count the stats of the item.

Why? Well I heard people mysteriously lose items because of a bug where their items are unequipped while offline. My idea fixes that problem and doesn't add any other problems that I know off.

    2) Add a system that balances the economy

What i'm thinking off is something that rewards you for destroying good items. Why? Because I think the market is over saturated with good items even if trading is such a hassle.

For example an upgrade system that uses materials gotten through destroying rare items (legendaries, rares) and upgrades stats of an item by a percent.

Upgrading would have a chance to fail and to destroy the item.

But, i'd still allow a measure to prevent the item from breaking, you'd have to sacrifice immense amounts of rare items to buy a safety scroll!

So you can go gamble on lame items but you want to upgrade a mythic, prepare to spend a lot of gear to sacrifice!

This fixes the economy up a bit and makes less items worth trading. You also no longer feel bad scrapping bad items because you're improving your main gear.

Cheap items will no longer be sold which means less storage clutter. You will only hold good items in your storage now, not kinda bad items that sell for a bit.

That's it for now, might think off more later.

1 has already been suggested but it's good
2 isn't really large enough of a money sink for it to work

Really? Did they give a reason why the suggestion doesn't work?

Hm, what i proposed wasn't a money sink, it's an item sink. Depending on how you balance it, it can be good enough sink in my opinion.

No, it's just that suggestions are rarely added.
The real issue isn't items, though.

One reason it isn't is because a lot of the good items have only been around for a little over a year, since Gavel came out. Emeralds, though, have been farmed since 2013, meaning there's a ridiculous amount of them. There's so much money in circulation that people feel the need to charge more to get their worth.

Basically, it's major inflation. Cutting out the products won't solve it.

I disagree, i think there's both item and money inflation, i'm not concerned about money inflation, i want to deal with the item inflation.

I get about 3 legendary items per farming trip, my trips take like half an hour or an hour and that's semi afk farming with no danger.

Those are legendary items, supposedly almost the rarest items that exist, and they drop like candy. I feel like it'd be better if rare items were actually rare. Because right now the only items that are worth more than you get money through questing a bit are mythics and really great roll rares and legendaries.

Like, say you get lvl 100 and want to buy every non mythic item you want for your build. How much money would you have to spend? A few le probably if you buy average rolled items. A few le is what everyone has after questing for a bit.

Or you could just farm for a few hours.

I wish there was gear progression like: at first you have bad unique items, then after some time you manage to get rares, then after a long time you finally get some legendaries.

This is how it's usually done, player progresses through gear rarity slowly, and not just buys legendaries with pocket money.

So even with the huuge money inflation, you can still easily buy legendaries you need with quest money. If only money inflation existed, buying a legendary with quest money would be impossible.

I see legendaries sell for 16 eb, unid ones. 16eb is what i get from 1 quick farm trip basically.

TLDR: non mythics are too easy to get, even without trading, like i got a full legendary set for myself before even getting a lvl to wear it

Money sinks are more important. You see, you might get an item, but you don't have to use it. Instead you get MONEY from it. Money is the source of everything.

Well upgrading items could also use money if you think money inflation is such a big problem.

Your economy suggestion is very very bad
Why? Getting rid of good items will only make them more expensive, so even less people will be able to afford them.

1: If it's possible they should do that, it's probably coming after the recode though.

2: This is an interesting concept, and I think I can improve.

You can turn it into a money sink as well.
    We'll call this item infusion.

You take an item to a new merchant, in Pirate Town, Dogovi, Aldorei, Elkurn, and Rymek.

This merchant has two slots, one for the item you want to improve, and one for the item you're using to improve.
It has a 30% chance to drop all the Ids on one item to 0.7x average, and one Id on the other item gets raised to 1.3x average.

It has a 50% chance to drop all the Ids on one item to 0.7x average, and the other item stays the same.

It has a 10% chance to destroy one item, and the other item stays the same.

It has a 10% chance to drop all the Ids on one item to 0.7x average, and one of the Ids on the other item is dropped to 0.7x average.

(If the item you want to improve is of a higher tier than the other).
It has a 10%/20%/30% chance to destroy both items.

(If the item you want to improve is a lower tier than the other).
It has a 10%/20%/30% chance to raise 3 Ids on one item to 1.3x average and destroy the other item. (You can't infuse your item again).

The item you want to improve must be the same level as the other item

The chances will be affected by the tier of the item as well.
If the items are the same tier the chances are as shown.

If the item you want to improve is one tier higher than the other item, chances are set to 9/10 of their currents and a new chance is added.
If the item you want to improve is two tiers higher, chances are set to 8/10, new effect.
If the item you want to improve is three tiers higher, 7/10, you get my point.

If the item you want to improve is one tier lower, chances are set to 9/10.
    Two tiers lower, 8/10.
    Three tiers lower, 7/10.

You can preform this three times at increasing costs, (except in special cases).

    Formula for cost is: 128 * L * C * (T + Y)
    (128 emeralds).
Where L is the item level.
C is the number of times you have already tried to improve your weapon.
T is the tier of the item you're infusing, (Unique being 1 and Mythic being 4).
Y is the tier of the item you're using to infuse, (Same ^).

    So trying to improve a level 1 unique with a unique for the first time would cost 128 * 1 * 1 * (1+1). (256) (4Eb)
    And trying to improve a level 100 mythic with a mythic for the last time would cost 128 * 100 * 3 * (4+4). (307,200) (75Le)

"White horse costs over 100Le your prices are too low."
No they aren't, whites cost over 100 for a guaranteed horse, you can only attempt an improvement 3 times, and accept whatever outcome.

I see two big problems we currently have in the wynncraft economy, there are hyperinflation(in terms of LE) and the big devide between rich and poor.
These two things relate to eachother the hyperinflation has the result items(like mythics) will become very expensive, I currently have 1.5 stacks of Le which should be a lot. But it isn't, I want a lament, to buy a lament I'll need around 8 stacks of Le. So I can't afford this, what do I do? I buy a replacement which is requiem for lament. With your suggestion not only the lament will get more expensive, but the requiem will go higher too. This would mean very poor people wouln't even be able to buy legendaries and rares. With the result it'll get practicly imposslible for them to make builds!

TDLR; Your economy suggestion will only make the devide between rich and poor bigger and make our problems worst.

    >This would mean very poor people wouln't even be able to buy legendaries and rares.

Wrong, depending on how it's balanced, you balance items to have a minimum worth. For example, say a legendary has an innate worth of 5 le, that means if a legendary can't sell for more than 5 le, it's not worth selling.

So if there's some build enabling item you want to pay 6 le for, you'll be able to buy it. But if you don't want to spend even 5 le, you can only rely on goodwill.

Of course if we set minimum worth to 500 le, nobody will be able to buy them. It's all about how you balance it. All i want is legendaries to be hard to get. As in, grind a few days at least to afford one hard.

Not just complete 1 quest in 20 minutes and buy 5 legendaries. They don't feel "legendary" to me, when i get them all i can think off is how they'll clog my bank, i'll see if they sell better than i think when i start my trade shop. But from the drop rate and what i see, most of them seem to sell for close to nothing.

And i'm not worried about the wealth divide at all, it's not that bad for me. I can grind max level items with a quest gear set and a legendary staff that dropped for me. This is not a pvp game so i don't worry about others being better. I know the guy who played 5 years might have a full bank of le, why should i care? He played and earned it.

There is nothing as a minimum worth
That is currently a normal price, if the ammount of copies of that item lowers becouse of your suggestion but the ammount of people who need it stays the same, the price of that item will go higher.
Again there is no minimum worth, and if you want legendaries to be harder to get, just lower the drop rate, don't let people delete the item making the price of that item even higher that when you lower the drop rate.
This doesn't happen I'm pretty sure the highest LE reward is 8Le from ToA, and that's not a 20 minutes quest. But even with 8 Le you still can't buy 5 legendaries so this just isn't true.
What? Are you just making this suggestion so you can earn more money? Becouse that's what it sounds like when you say that it's not bad for you!
We're not talking about you, me or ganon, we or atleast I am talking about the overall economy of this game.
Also the divide between poor and rich is not about others being better, it's about the big players on the market diciding the prices of items which usually goes really high and it's about a huge ammount of people not being able to afford expensive items like mythics.

    Here's example of minimum worth

Upgrade item: cost: 1 legendary lvl 100 item or 5 LE.

Btw don't nitpick my post to find rebuttals, i like to exaggerate a bit.

Here's a better one, if i spend 10 hours grinding i'm 100% sure i can get 1 le. Some legendaries sell for 16 eb unidentified.. This seems too little to me.
