World Unreachable Loot Chest In The Hidden City Quest

I've found an unreachable Loot Chest in an area where The Hidden City quest takes place. The house where you find Ardulf (Located at 1014, 147 -5629) has a loot chest 4 hidden in it's fireplace, which was there before the update that added The Hidden City was added. Since you're now forced into a cutscene where Ardulf 'finds' you, there's no way to access the loot chest, as you're teleported to an alternate version of the house where the loot chest is not present. I've attempted to jump the tripwire, however there is a barrier blocking the path to the Loot Chest anyway.

My best idea to solve this is either to remove the barrier, and have the cutscene not run after completing that part of the quest, or move the loot chest to somewhere hidden near the house, but not inside.

It's a little hard to see, but behind the fireplace you can just make out the white particles signalling the chest.

 

Indeed, this one used to be in my molten heights loot run but not anymore

 

Its reachable, but you have to jump over the tripwire. Overall, its super annoying.

Does this actually work? I've tried a good 6 or 7 times in an attempt to try and get to the sweet loot only to have to sit through Ardulf's rambling about how Humans shouldn't be living in the city and blah blah blah.

 

I've tried jumping over it, aren't there barrier blocks preventing you from doing so?

 

I'm pretty sure there are. I threw some smoke bombs to test, and they all shattered mid-air where the barriers would be.

Also this happened, weirdly:

It was playing the cutscene like it was Ardulf, but with the spooky skeleton instead.

 

idk, I've been able to get to it 100% of the time.

Huh, interesting. I just tried and I got the same result as @Nepeta Leijon

 

I lied, theres 2 tripwires. You have to jump over both of them (inbetween the stairs) to make it across. Smoke bombing it will cause the smoke bomb to activate because of tripwire hitboxes.

The first time I did the quest, I missed this scene, so when I did it again, I was freaked out.
