    Hi everyone, a couple of days ago, I vame up with an idea. After some time thinking about the details, I now proudly present: The Warlock. Here you can find all the details about the class.

    Class Info:


    Weapon:
    Orb (shoutout to hallowynn for the idea): A floating, demonic looking dark red orb. This could change for different elements like:
    Earth: a dark greenish orb
    Thunder: a grey-ish orb with little lightning sparks coming out
    Water: aquatic orb
    Fire: A darker, fiery orb
    Air: a white orb
    And maybe when 1.9 comes around you could hold an ancient spellbook or a necronomicon or something in your other hand.

    (these designs can be changed, and I'm not so sure how you design a good weapon for this class. Originally, I was thinking a scythe would do good, but then I tought of the warrior air texture, and got into a bit of a crisis, so I decided a shorter wand would be decent. If you have any better ideas, please let me know)


    Special Traits:
    Consumes health to perform spells, wich often let him heal.

    Stats:

    Spells:


    Consume: The user sacrifices a portion of his health, in order to suck away the life energy from nearby enemies.
    (RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT)


    Grade I:
    Cost: 15% of total HP

    Damages every enemy in a radius of 7 blocks around the user.
    Heals for 5% of max hp for every enemy hit, 20% per player. (to balance out 1v1's in the bloodmage's favor)


    Damage:
    50% Damage
    20% Fire Damage


    Grade II:
    Cost: 10% of total HP

    Damages every enemy in a radius of 7 blocks around the user.
    Heals for 5% of max hp for every enemy hit, 20% per player.

    Damage:
    65% Damage
    25% Fire Damage
    5% Thunder Damage

    Grade III:
    Cost: 10% of total HP

    Damages every enemy in a radius of 7 blocks around the user.
    Heals for 7% of max hp for every enemy hit, 20% per player.
    If the user hits 5 enemies or more at once, the user gains a resistance buff.

    Damage:
    75% Damage
    30% Fire Damage
    10% Thunder Damage

    + Blood Collector: 20% resistance if 5 enemies hit

    VISUALS: Redstone particles above every hit enemy's head, and particle lines of redstone particles connecting you and the enemies.
    NOISE: A low pitched wither death noise on cast.


    Crimson Rush:
    The user transforms himself into levitating wave of blood, making him more mobile and more resistant to damage.
    (RIGHT-RIGHT-RIGHT)


    Grade I:
    Cost: 10% of total HP

    Speed buff: 60%
    Resistance buff: 25%
    Rush Duration: 2 seconds

    Grade II:
    Cost: 10% of total HP
    Speed buff: 60%
    Resistance buff: 35%
    Rush Duration: 2.5 seconds

    Grade III:
    Cost: 10% of total HP
    Speed buff: 70%
    Resistance buff: 40%
    Rush Duration: 3 seconds

    + Strength of the Wave: 30% Strength buff for 5 seconds after the Crimson Rush.

    VISUALS:
    Blood particles around the user for the entirity of the duration, leaving a trail of blood behind the user.
    NOISE: Slowed down Ghast death noise, followed by quiet lava noises over the duration.


    Bloodbomb: The user collects the life energy of all things around him, and lets it all out in a massive explosion.
    (RIGHT-LEFT-LEFT)


    Grade I:
    Cost: 25% of total HP

    Charges up above the user for 4 seconds and damages every enemy in a 7 block radius around the user, in change for a big amount of health.

    Damage:
    300% Damage
    25% Fire Damage
    25% Earth Damage

    Grade II:
    Cost: 25% of total HP

    Charges up above the user for 3.5 seconds and damages every enemy in a 8 block radius around the user, in change for a big amount of health.

    Damage:
    350% Damage
    30% Fire Damage
    30% Earth Damage

    Grade III:
    Cost: 30% of total HP

    Charges up above the user for 3 seconds and damages every enemy in a 9 block radius around the user, in change for a big amount of health.

    Damage:
    400% Damage
    30% Fire Damage
    30% Earth Damage

    + Puddle of Blood: Bloodbomb leaves a puddle of blood on the ground for 4 seconds, dealing 20% Damage (every half a second.)

    VISUALS: Ball shaped redstone particles above the user while charging, then a circular wave of blood particles, starting from the user and expanding quickly, and the blood puddle would be some small redstone particles on the ground where the explosion was.
    NOISE: While charging up, you hear the noise that you hear when traveling trough a nether portal, followed by an explosion sound. The blood puddle doesn't make any sound.


    Dark Portal:
    The user summons some underlings, wich attack enemies.
    (RIGHT-RIGHT-LEFT)

    Grade I:
    Cost: 20% of total HP

    Summons 2 Demonic Underlings, wich can be killed and will attack and kill enemies for the bloodmage. These Demonic Underlings stay around for 45 seconds until despawning.

    Stats:
    Underling Damage: (1 hit per second)
    40% Damage

    20% Earth Damage
    15% Water Damage
    Underling HP: 1750
    Underling Speed: 140% of the player's speed

    Grade II:
    Cost: 20% of total HP

    Summons 2 Demonic Underlings, wich can be killed and will attack and kill enemies for the blood mage. These Demonic Underlings stay around for 60 seconds until despawning.

    Stats:
    Underling Damage: (1 hit per second)
    50% Damage

    20% Earth Damage
    15% Water Damage
    Underling HP: 2000
    Underling Speed: 140% of the player's speed

    Grade II:
    Cost: 20% of total HP

    Summons 3 Demonic Underlings, wich can be killed and will attack and kill enemies for the blood mage. These Demonic Underlings stay around for 60 seconds until despawning.

    Stats:
    Underling Damage: (1 hit per second)
    50% Damage

    20% Earth Damage
    15% Water Damage
    Underling HP: 2250
    Underling Speed: 140% of the player's speed

    + Blood for the Master: every hit the Underlings deal, heals 2.5% of the player's max HP

    VISUALS:
    Portal: A bunch of dark smoke particles in a small circle.
    Underlings: Baby Zombies wearing wither skulls, a black leather chestplate, dark grey leggings, and black leather boots.

    NOISES:
    Portal: a really low pitched nether portal sound
    Underlings: No sounds



    So, here's the idea for the class. I hope you like it, and if you don't, please let me know why. Before commenting tough, I do admit I suck at balancing things, so if you have any suggestions for better balance, please let me know.

    How is it just a remade mage? What are you talking about? It's abilities (except for maybe the consume, kinda... ) aren't even similar...

    A lot of the text is black and it blends into the dark theme background, which hurts people's eyes if they use dark theme.

    Try using different colors (white?) and have subtitles to organize the thread.

    I also tought of calling it warlock, and I know it sounds kinda similar in concept (both mages, etc), but the abilities are different, wich is in my opinion the most important thing. But about the weapon, I do know they're both wands, but I couldn't use scythes like I originally planned to do, because of the warrior air texture. If you have a suggestion for a better weapon, please let me know.

    And about the dark theme thing, I had no clue something like that even existed, so sorry about it. And I don't use dark theme, so using white would hurt MY eyes, or make me unable to read it myself. I also chose darker colors because it fits in with the theme of a bloodmage, but again, I didn't know dark theme existed.

    Also, I find it to be quite decently organized, but this is only my second post ever, so I'm still trying and experimenting.

    Ssst dude the normal people who haven't sold their soul to league will hear...

    But no in all honesty, yes, it does. I took some inspiration from him, but the whole concept originally didn't have anything to do with it; it's actually based on the warlock from hearthstone, that's where I got the idea of a character who would be able to sacrifice his health to get special buffs. Vlad was a later inspiration, when I was writing the bloodbomb, that's when I realized how similar they where. Hence why the last ability is something different, to make a difference. And be honest, Vlad is a really cool designed character.

    I know, and originally I wanted to call it warlock, but in my opinion I tought bloodmage sounded cooler. I can change it if you want, but hey, like I've stated multiple times before in this threat, the abilities are different, wich is the most important in my opinion. And I know it still has SOME similarities to mage, but talking about design, I think the mage and this class are completely different. And about the wands, I know, I originally wanted to go for a scythe, but then I remembered the warrior air texture, so I went with this, and I've stated this multiple times before.

    honestly man the thing about wynncraft is that no 2 classes are alike, if the dev team were to add a 5th class, my guess would be is a completely different class that has no similarities to the other 4
    your idea is decent but i really doubt we would get another class that's somewhat similar to another

    I know man, but this idea just popped into my head and I wanted to share it with the world, as I want to help make wynncraft that much better. But, the thing is, there probably never will be a 5th class, because every class is so basic. I mean, we have a mage, wich is about as basic as you can go. As far as originality, the original 4 classes really aren't that original (triple original, now I get style points). And thx I worked on those tags for years.

    i kinda like the whole 'dark magic blood ritual' idea for a class, but it would just feel somewhat repetitive with the magical theme, perhaps some tweaks, a different weapon, and another name ('warlock' was a pretty solid name for this class, i don't know why did u change it xd), it would be a pretty good suggestion

    overall you didn't do a bad job on the class at all

    I guess you're right, and I just found that bloodmage sounded a bit cooler xD I'll change it, because honestly, it was a pretty close call between warlock and bloodmage. But about the weapon, I know it's pretty bad, I really wanted to do a scythe, but there already is a scythe texture in the game, and I'm not that creative... any tips or ideas maybe?

    a scythe somewhat fits with the dark magic theme but not really, but what i had in mind was maybe when wynn switches over to 1.9, perhaps the weapon would be two floating orbs of blood magic or something held in both hands, maybe the devs have other plans for the dual wielding in 1.9
    that's the best i can come up with sorry lol

    A floating orb does actually sound pretty nice... and maybe like a spellbook (necronomicon for example) in the other hand... thx for the idea dude ^^
