Does Loot Bonus Affect Chests?

Loot bonus affecting chests is probably of Salted's intention but... maybe it's just bugged and it does not work, just like how strength was supposed to affect all damage but instead, it only affects earth and neutral damage. Or maybe loot bonus % on a loot chest is unnoticeable.

I personally think that loot bonus does not affect chests because back in mid-2016, I had ~130% loot bonus for several months just daily grinding and loot chest running. I never got a Mythic-tier item. The only time I do is when I took off all my loot bonus armor except my Jester Bracelet for just one loot run. This shows that loot bonus % is too unreliable when it comes to chests, and is probably just better to keep your normal gear on.

As you can tell, no one really knows. Although, I've done hundreds and maybe even thousands of loot runs and in MY EXPERIENCE, you get more/better loot with loot bonus than without.

 

I've noticed the exact same as Glitched, I seem to get better loot on average using loot bonus when loot running.

 

One day... I'm going to test this...
