Pregame Lobby

So there is a texture pack problem, and I came up with a solution!

So the lobby you join the server with is called the Pregame Lobby. Connecting to a game will download the pack. Now, once you go to the hub the texturepack does not unload, and connecting to games will not be delayed.

Simply genius

But why a pregame lobby?
Loading a texturepack as you join the game causes lag and increases the chance of getting kicked.

 

You're right, it is genius; that's why it's already a feature.

Yet, it would definitely be useful to have the resource pack load upon first joining a lobby.

As of testing it 30 seconds ago, no it doesn't.

 

when first log into wynncraft the pack doesn't load
when you log into a world it loads and stays loaded unless you log off the server

 

When ever I join a game from the main lobby it reloads the texturepack

 

When I try and USE the texture pack I lag sooo much that I eventually get kicked. And that is why it's hard for me to read the chat!

No, you don't understand, I LITERALLY can't play with the pack on.

@captainganon thats not a feature. It always reloads the pack when logging into a world (war, WC, etc).

I'm just confused as to why it happens for me and seemingly nobody else.

Here is what happens:
Player logs into lobby, texture pack does NOT load.
Player logs into server, texture pack LOADS.
Player logs back into lobby from server via /hub, texture pack REMAINS LOADED
Player logs into server, texture pack RELOADS.

 

I get that, the thing is that it doesn't reload when I do it

either that or my pc is so garbage the pack loads before the game's loading screens are done

 

I, for one, know it keeps the pack loaded.
What they need to do is add that onto guild wars.
