Troms doesn't need more greenery, it needs to look more like a stronghold instead of a bunch of garrisoned farmhouses like it did before.

It's a stronghold filled with houses that would fill the whole place with fire if someone misplaced a match.

It's a stronghold without a military base.

It's a stronghold where the only thing remotely resembling a stronghold within it clashes with the rest of the town's appearance.

So, no it really isn't a stronghold. It needs to look more like one.

Okay, where are the military housed? There's no space in the castle, no apparent garrisons, nothing.

Yes, strongholds -do- have houses that are made of stone. This one doesn't. Show me -one- building, excepting the castle/walls, that is made primarily of stone. Some of them have stone detailing, but that isn't being made of sturdy stone. They're all wooden and flimsy-looking, not fit to be within such a heavily militarized town.

 

Walls are made to protect the people inside. Even if ur remarks are true the walls are VERY thick. There are doors that dont lead anywhere that would make you think that there are more rooms in the castle. Perhaps for the troops :) troops sometimes live ON the battlements and in the walls :P

 

You can argue over the details all you want, but the fact of the matter is Troms doesn't fit the part of this grand military stronghold with nothing but dumpy little farmhouses inside, not to mention the fact that compared with the grandeur of the walls and castle(as well as general palette), the town's whole style is clashing with itself, which was my initial point.

 

Actually Troms used to have an army @Selvut283 but the general moved it to Skiens Island as a war strategic movement cause he never trusted on villagers and hated them

 

What if they demolished the army barracks after Skien left, in order to accommodate for population growth?

 

The army has obviously recovered since then, considering there are soldiers all around town and references are made to the current army in quests like The Passage. Just because the army left at one point doesn't mean they never get one again. And again, this is besides the point. The point is Troms looks bad now. We need to make Troms look not bad. And a rigid, military style would not only match the walls/castles' aesthetic and palette but also make perfect sense for the town, rather than run-down shacks of "rustic" houses like we've got now.

 

i agree, i think Troms must be expanded, and something like barracks, an army trainment place, (something like in ragni or Rodoroc but bigger) and like the entrance must be fortified cause it seems like is too vulnerable, and some like archers at the top of the wall like in Ragni maybe ask to Donald Trump to remake the wall and make it bigger
