What is the Book Of Beasts?

The Book Of Beasts is an item. Believe it or not it is a readable book. When you open the book, it presents you with a contents page. It looks a little bit like this;

Of course when more provinces are released the book will be updated

Basically, every time you kill a new mob, you will have its elements, unique drops, the biome and province.

What about the book itself?
The book itself is an item, as stated above. It will be a quest item, meaning you cannot drop it. It is accessed by the compass, and when you click it, it will appear in your inventory. If you inventory does not have 2 clear spaces, the following error will come up

Who gets the mob added to their book if it is a group effort?
Much like the item drop system, whoever does sufficient damage will get the mob added to their book.

Whenever a new mob is added to their book, a message is given.

Spoiler: How to access

The book will be underneath the Intelligence skill Next to the skill reset, and it will be an enchanted book. When you click it, it will be put in your inventory, as stated above. The book will not be able to move from your inventory. You cannot put it in your bank or trade it.
To get rid of the book you simply right click it while it is in your inventory, and it will be removed.

Well, on a serious note, why can't the book just open up when we click in it in the compass menu? It'll save inven space and be convenient.

 

there's a smol problem with where the book appears as it's the same place as the daily reward

Just a question, how do we get rid of the book from our inventory?

Is it sort of like the quest book where you can't move it from that one spot in your inventory?
If so, what if you accidently summon it on say, your first slot in your hot Bar?

Damn this is a good idea! Good job on this, I hope it gets added so it gives Wynncraft another challenge to try and kill every mob in the game!

what about unbeatable mobs
like Pigpuck or those all element def cows near Cinfras

 

yeh i need something for know what legends can the mobs drop

Probably would have some sort of function, maybe add an NPC for those that tells you about them, and then it shows up in the book?

 

I dont know about how this could be implemented in game, but it could be a thing on the main site and be already full.
