World Teleport Map!

There should be a map that you can buy for 5(?) stacks of $E and what it does is that it lets you teleport anywhere on the map for the cost of 1(?) soul point!

 

Absolutely not. Even for its price, it'd be massively abusable, and people would be able to exit the map. And how would the mechanic even work?

 

Not even for 15 SP will I ever say yes to this....

And 5 LE? More like a stack

I didn't insult him, and "Ridiculous" is hardly a real insult to his thread.

As for him being new; it doesn't matter. New or 5-years old, if you make a bad suggestion, you should be told that it's bad. Being new to the game is not an excuse for making a bad suggestion.

 

I certainly have different opinions on the usage of "ridiculous," but I suppose that comes down to opinion, for the most part. I'm a fair bit more concerned about this part, though:

That aside, while telling a user that their suggestion is bad is a good thing when appropriate, there should always be a given reason for your response, as well as constructive criticism when applicable, as it is here.

On another note, while this is the internet and nothing is set in stone, it can be made out with fair certainty that the author of the thread is simply new and shouldn't be too harshly criticized.

I'm in the middle of a flame war already, so don't worry. I don't need more flame, so I'll just end this here.

I understand that there should always be a reason behind it. However, I felt that in this case it was unnecessary, since Plasma covered it pretty well. That's all.

I was able to recognize that the author of the thread was a newer player, but I still don't believe new players should be criticized just as much as anyone else. Yet, I recognize that these are simply two differing opinions, and that's ok.

Perhaps make it so you can teleport to any major city for the cost of two soul points, and have it as an extra purchaseable in trade for a 40/40 white horse at the Tower of Amnesia.
