Guild Wars Remake

so yeah. I was jerking off on my sketchbook of ideas as I came to this amazing idea.
So, guild wars currently:
Flaws:
-Make no sense
-Have no goal besides "killing"
-Are too easy, just camp a tree as archer/warrior.

My new idea:
Flaws
-None I can think of lol

So here we go.

The new system only allows the claiming of large territories, and leave many territories alone.
So, you can only war on cities. What happens is a captain/chief/leader does /battle. They must be in a city/town.

Now, what happens is this goes in guild chat:
Your guild is declaring war. Type /war to join.

Now, after this we all get teleported outside the city. The entrances are stuffed with guards. These are kinda the same as the mobs you summon with /guild defend, but they are organised. Archers go along the walls, the melee guys are on the ground. In the center is a "General" which is a boss you must defeat inorder to win the battle.

Once you win some land/ a city, the merchants are cheapers/ you pay 80%/20% off. This does not work with emerald merchants (Including LE merch's)

And also every time someone uses a merchant you get 0.15 emeralds (Tax)

 

Good... uhh.. i don't have anything else to say other than that.

 

Unless you mean Guild Money, no. If you do mean guild money; still no. Detlas would become OP instead of typical areas like Troms, that make sense.

Merchant sales are no in general.


Everything else is fine.

 

Watching Detlas become a warzone would be fun

 

Detlas is already chaotic enough.

 

Perhaps every time someone buys something? Like armor or potions?

 

It would be better for there to be set amount of emeralds per time-period, scaling depending on the level of the city.

 

yea. Mabye if would work the same way for xp?

 

I think at this point Guilds should be fixed rather than re-done...
Guilds are already a pain the ass for CT.

 

but that removes the concept of Taxes

found a big flaw get someone outside the guild to spam trade emerald merchant and boom infinite money

 

And what do we do with guild money?

You seem new....

 

What they mean is that with your system you could go to the EMERALD MERCHANT and because of tax reductions you could buy an EB for less than 64 emeralds. They never said anything about guild money, don't just insult them because you misunderstood them

I mean no I just gotta say that you seem pretty young...

 

*sigh* some people can take a comment of "being new" to mean they're inexperienced and don't know much. And it's a little annoying to discuss something when you insist on putting an irrelevant comment at the end of each of your posts
